Started out great, our waitress was fantastic, and the Parmesan Truffle Fries were delicious! Our waitress kept our glasses full and was timely in taking our order. As for the entree, we were so disappointed. I got the Pappardelle Pasta with Salmon, and my wife got the Chicken Alfredo with Broccoli. Both were absolutely bland and soupy. It really took away from the whole experience. The atmosphere was so great, but after our first bite, we were straining our eyes in the poor lighting to see if the food was even safe to eat. The chicken looked like it was microwaved, and the broccoli tasted as if it was an afterthought. Nothing came together. My salmon was super fishy smelling, but was at least tender. The empty bowl of way looks like soup is what was left, and my wife barely touched the chicken alfredo. The staff and first impressions were great, but the food really ruined the rest of the experience. Also, $85 after tip is not worth coming back unless it's for some of those fries to-go.

Very nice ambiance inside the restaurant but the waiting area is lacking and our party had to wait almost 30 minutes past our scheduled reservation time. We were seated next to a very loud party who seemed to have no regard for anyone else in the restaurant and knew some of the kitchen staff. Our waitress was inattentive while glasses sat empty and food took a long time to come out. The food, once served was very good though. Maybe the only redeeming thing of the night.

Awesome dinner experience! This restaurant is beautiful, a must-see right in the heart of Altoona. Our server was Larissa, she was super friendly, attentive and helpful. She answered all of our questions about the menu (seeing that this was our first time dining here). About the food ... what can I say? It was beyond yummy! It was served quickly, prepared perfectly and delicious. Check this place out!

I was so excited to try this restaurant last Fall. I went on a date with my fiance while I was 8 months pregnant. I really wanted to try the lamb. When I placed my order the waitress asked how I would like it cooked. I told her well done, only because I was pregnant and my doctor advised me I wasn't allowed to eat anything that wasn't fully cooked. (Now mind you, I normally order medium rare.) After putting my order in my lamb came out medium rare instead of well done with a note from the chef, in all caps and exclamation points saying he does not cook lamb well done. I was so disgusted with the way I was treated. I ended up eating the lamb and taking my chances, but I refuse to ever go back to this restaurant. There were so many better ways this issue could've been handled, and yelling at me via a note and refusing to make the food I ordered is not one of them. That aside, my brussel sprouts were awful and had no flavor. I make roasted brussel sprouts at home with olive oil, salt, and pepper and those taste better than what I ordered here. I could've lived with the unseasoned brussel sprouts, but that type of service isn't worth it. I refuse to give my money to someone who treats their customers with such disrespect. I wish I would've been treated better, because I probably would've gone back. The atmosphere is beautiful and I had such high hopes when I walked in, but nope. I won't be returning. UPDATE Reply to Owner This most certainly did happen. The note was written on my bill that came to the table. The reason I didn't make a review until some time later is because I was telling someone about the incident today and they advised me to review your restaurant on Google. Your reply to my comment just proves my point further. Your lack of professionalism is appalling. This is not how you run a business. I get it, no one wants to read a bad review, but the best policy is to use that critism as a means of improvement and try to rectify the situation. The reason your business is open and you make money is because of your customers. I have never in my life heard of someone running a business this way. I don't understand how you're still open if this is how you treat your consumers. Potential customers you can believe what you want, but this is definitely an accurate depiction of MY personal experience the day I went to this restaurant, and the owner's comment just solidifies my thoughts on this...

Came here for family dinner. Upon entry already felt like unwelcomed by hostesses. Stated my husband had called down and there wasn’t a wait at time and hostess stated didnt know it was for 7 people I said that’s fine and she kept explaining why a reservation should have been made i stated it’s fine I’m just wondering how long the wait is she stated 30mins roughly. Upon checking with family we decided to wait. Finally was our turn to be seated we went in ordered our drinks and upon looking at menu was attempting to find kids menu and other items that it showed online. My husband decided to get up and ask different hostess about menu she stated with Valentine’s Day yesterday that is our menu. Upon discussion we decided to possibly go elsewhere. Called different restaurant made reservations which was about 5mins or so. Our hostess never returned with drinks so we got up and left. Many had seen us leave. Upon leaving parking lot my husband noticed a lady at front taking a picture of my car. Pulled back around to see why this lady was taking my picture the lady stated I’m looking for party of 7 that was just in here and left I said that’s us she had asked what happened so I explained the situation and that nothing was wrong she wanted to know why we didn’t inform anyone I stated well hostess never returned. She stated she is one of my best and was getting your drinks I stated well we made reservations and wanted to get there and she stated you didn’t make reservations here I said no not here somewhere else and we wanted to get there she stated don’t come back and was very rude I stated I won’t come back especially after the way she spoke to us. Then she stated good your not welcome. This was highly unprofessional for this lady and only to find out when I called back in restaurant to find out who this was I was informed it was the manager heather long. No way to be treated especially first time ever at this place and will never step foot in door...

Response to owner bully- The chicken was rubbery and didn't taste very good (not first time) along with the wrong side dishes. The guy who took my order over the phone specifically told me your vegetable of the day was broccoli in garlic butter when I ordered it along with the rice that normally comes with it. Instead I received pasta. Also, I called the last time we ordered and spoke with Heather instead of making a complaint on here because she complained to other complaints that the patron should have let her know instead of a bad review but she didn't have time to take care of the problem and asked for 24 hrs then we never heard back for a week. I have the emails. By then we didn't care. We gave your restaurant many chances and your food is inconsistent. We will not be back again and the bullying you guys do when people give you constructive criticism is going to be your down fall as a business. My father ran a sucessful restaurant and bar for over 30years so I understand the business and people can complain about everything but when they consistently complain about the food being bad you listen. I don't need a response from you like I said we will...
