I don't typically leave reviews and even in the past when orders have been hit or miss has never causes me to leave a review but tonight although the guy who called me was assuring me it's all good, my experience was less than that. I ordered a medium pizza and cheesy bread at 11:30 through the app (which admittedly is half an hour before close) it had no problem letting me place the order. At 11:40 and 11:42 I received phone calls which I missed because I was driving to go pick up the pizza, I noticed I got the calls when I was pulling into the parking lot so I called them back and they informed me that they were so backed up that they had to quit taking orders and no worries I would get refunded within a day. I understood that maybe they were backed up and I could see where if I was ordering delivery that would be a tough thing to do, but I wasn't. I was picking it up and how much extra work is a pepperoni pizza? Too much work to throw one more in the oven before you close up 20 minutes early? I was there to pick it up already anyway, toss a few pepperonis on the dough that is already proofed and ready to go, and put it on the oven belt. So I said, what if we take off the cheesy bread to make it even easier on you guys, I just want the pizza, would that be doable?
He said no they already had turned the oven off around the time they called me(11:40). I've worked in food service my whole life and am a reasonably intelligent person I'd like to think, but not smart enough apparently to wrap my mind around how they could be so backed up on orders that they were resorting to calling customers who had already placed and/or paid for orders to inform them they have canceled their orders due to simply being "too overwhelmed with orders" and "have their oven turned off" 20 minutes before close... 10 minutes after I placed my order... Feels more like they decided to go home early but couldn't get the website to corroborate their lie. I guess I'm just unlucky to live next to the lazy, undisciplined Domino's location - if I had ordered from a different location I would have had a different experience and that's why they get as few ⭐s as I...
Read moreHorrible customer service from the closing manager and the delivery driver. I was literally left in tears by the way the manager talked to me. I went to meet the driver at the front door of my apt and I got a call from him very angry telling me "I'm here, open your door!" And I apologize and came up the stairs. Said "How are you doing " and he said "Fn Terrible" I apologized and said I hope I didn't cause that. He huffed at me and threw the food into my arms. I asked his name as he left but he kept walking. Called management, and they said they would handle it. Overall wasn't happy about the food but I ate it, and so I called back to take the tip off of the meal. (I tipped 25-30%) And the manager said "Why are you lying ?" What?? And he said that he won't help me, then passed the phone to someone who said that we're in charge of medical for Domino's (??) Manager refused to tell me their name.and it was such a shady experience. Wasn't able to get the money fixed yet and I'm just going to chalk it up to a lesson learned. I cannot believe I was talked to so poorly. I was polite, and patient, and kind. Meanwhile the manager and driver was so hostile and angry I couldn't believe it. If I was yelling and cussing and causing a ruckus I could understand the grief but it was totally unwarranted. This happened March 18th, 2023. Why someone would make a stranger cry for ordering a pizza was just disgusting. Praying for them because they have some...

Requested contactless delivery. Driver made my boyfriend meet them down at the main door of our apartment building, (thought maybe they had a disability or something, which is fine, but this was not the case) and then informed him that they forgot our drink and couldn't bring it until they finished the rest of their deliveries, or we could get store credit instead.
Proceed to call the store and ask what to do, if we can have another driver deliver it or what can be done. Employee that answered responded in the absolute most condescending attitude that they couldn't do that because its a Friday night. I'm frustrated now because your driver ignored our delivery instructions AND forgot part of our order, and now I'm being talked down to after explaining the situation and asking what to do? Asked for store credit because I'm tired of this situation now. Gave them our address. "I'm going to need more information than that..." (x3) What more information do you need than our street name and city?! Boyfriend had to take the phone and finish the call at this point.
I understand mistakes and forgetting things, but this situation could have been handled better, and the fact that the person that I was talking to over the phone had the audacity to be rude with me over their mistake was unbelievable.
Food was great though. Please work on your customer...
