Great park! It Has lots of different play equipment for kids, nice shaded areas to sit and eat lunch tennis courts, basketball court and a fun rocket sculpture. There’s even a gazebo a few little fountains and a concert area. Lots of trees. What a gem!

Haines Park is a very nice city park with a rose garden, modern playground for the kids and a nice shelter. Large shade trees and being a block or two from the main street make it both easy to get to and quiet. Parking is limited but this has never been a problem as we have only been there during the week for lunch. I would have given it a five but there is only one grill at the shelter and the park does not have any restrooms. But for lunch with friends it is...

I love that this park has a little section that my 3 year old and 1 year old enjoy and then another part that my almost 8 year old loves. Only problem for each of the times we went, was the bathrooms were trashed. Wet toilet paper thrown all over the walls, floor and doors. Toilets dirty. They obviously need to have someone check...
