Starbucks — Restaurant in Altoona

This is a great Starbucks! I was with my youngest son. I wanted to treat him to a caffeine free drink and buy him a cup. I also wanted to treat my other son to a drink and a cup too. Which I had to bring home being he was gone for the day. I was having a hard time getting on my app to get to my gift cards for payment so I finally reset my password. Everyone was so kind, calm and understanding. Especially Bailey the very kind lady who was checking us out. I kept apologizing. She told me it’s ok not to worry at all. I started telling her I just had a major surgery about a couple weeks ago and I’m still having some confusion amnesia from it. When I was finally on my app to pay with my gift cards I asked her if I had enough money to buy myself a drink. She said yes I still had quite a bit. Bailey then told me she would buy me a drink on her. I told her she didn’t have to do that. She said she really wanted to and she understood what I was going through being someone close to her had the same surgery. She asked me what kind of drink I would like and I told her anything she recommended. She made one of her favorites. It was so good! I can’t remember the name of it. I also have been feeling really suicidal before and after surgery which I never let the world or anyone know at all until yesterday and now. I feel I need to explain this whole great experience in detail. I had tears in my eyes and told Bailey that her buying me a drink and her and everyone so kind at this Starbucks yesterday made me realize there is good and still good people in the world! Bailey’s kindness turned my whole mood around! Some of the horrible mean people that laughed at me after this nice experience, Bailey’s niceness overpowered those mean people! My son and I left the Altoona Starbucks in a great positive mood being he has struggles he has been dealing with also with people being mean. I want to thank Bailey for her sweet caring professional kindness! You never know what’s going on in someone’s life and kindness from someone else can go along way! I’m still very happy and excited this morning (the next day) for her covering the cost to buy me a drink. Thank you so much Bailey and all the kind workers at this store! We will be back! My sisters and I went to Starbucks and wanted something refreshing. We had ordered 3 mango dragonfruit refresher with lemonade. After we completed our order and had paid already. We overheard one of the workers say out loudly “Gosh I just hate making mango dragonfruit teas”. It made us feel uncomfortable like they didn’t want to service us. After I received my order I asked the barista “oh do you guys not make the drinks with the fruit pieces anymore”? hence the photo on the right She then proceed to say “oh we ran out of the dragonfruit pieces, but I can add strawberry pieces for you, if you wanted”. I said “No thanks” Overall it just made us upset because when we ordered they didn’t share or ask if we were ok getting the drink still if they didn’t have all the ingredients. I went today to grab coffee of course and this is how much was in my cup before I drank it. I spent almost $6 on an almost half empty cup. This was after I went inside to grab it with a loud and assertive thank you with no response. Is this just Starbucks now or should there be more? Edit to add: this is an 8oz cup so I wasn’t going to get much coffee to begin with.

One more Edit: I did not notice the cup was so low until I got home as I wanted to enjoy my cup on the couch with a movie. Although, a week later I placed a mobile order for what I thought was this location. Turns out I placed it for Clairemont. When I arrived, a barista made my entire order for me after realizing the mistake, no questions asked. Made my day so I'm raising my review! Just fill up my cup! We pay good money for...
