Table wasn't clean where we sat but others weren't either. Looks like they haven't had much attention recently. There was no one else eating inside but then 3 other individuals were at different tables by the time we left. There was something on both sides of the garbage can. Didn't look very clean. There's a ketchup dispenser but it's obviously not Heinz. Free WiFi. Saw new employee doing computer training. Cool and comfortable in dining area. Nice seating with comfortable chairs and lounge furniture, not just hard chairs at tables. Restroom looked clean but stinky inside. They have the great choose your own Coke product machines so you can get a cherry vanilla Coke Zero. That's a plus! Got the $5 biggie bag with drink, bacon double cheeseburger, fries, and 4 piece nugget with sweet and sour sauce. Also got the delicious summer salad with candied almonds, bacon, strawberries, and champagne vinaigrette dressing. Also got a small twist frosty and junior chocolate frosty. All told, under $15 for big meal shared between two. So, it's a great meal for the price! This location is fairly close to the PSU Altoona campus and very near the hospital....
Read moreStopped here with my kids after church in the evening. Thought it was a quick bite to eat and I didn't have to make dinner. At first I was impressed- no wait and fast service. But halfway through the meal that all changed. The cook and another employee were having a conversation, loud enough for my family to hear in the dining area. Before too long the cook got so agitated that he began to curse. My 3 young children's eyes were big as saucers when they heard him drop the f-bomb and other choice words in the restaurant. At this point I had enough and hurried my kids out of there. - So much for family meal time. Next time, we will just go home and eat a pb&j sandwich instead. I won't put a foot in here again. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but this guy's behavior was unacceptable. Seriously wondering if he is still working (anywhere) with that kind...

My 80 year old mother who had been previously in intensive care since 7/16 at UPMC hospital Altoona wanted some French fries from Wendy's and a milk shake tonight.
She hasn't ate very well for the last week so when she said she was hungry for something, it was a great sign
So, my brother stopped at the Wendy's located at 1300 7th street Altoona at around 9pm.
He specifically asked the attendants for FRESH fried French fries and he was told that they would be fresh.
He delivered them to my mom in about 10-15 minutes and he said after he gave her some, they were like leather......very old and cold....obviously laying around a while.
He was pissed and so am I. So much so, that I am taking time to write this review.
A sincere "Thanks" Wendy's for this...
