Their food is great. The staff is nice. But I can’t justify continuing to go here when their online ordering service never works, they won’t take phone orders when their online service doesn’t work, there’s sandwiches you can only purchase by going IN the store and then you have to wait for them to be done (cause, you know, the online ordering service doesn’t work) and you can’t just order them on the phone and pick them up in the drive-through. So if you’re running low on time, you can’t get any food there. And if you have a problem with the rewards or are trying to get something figured out, the staff just kind of shrugs their shoulders and says “okay”, awkwardly smiles and lets you go on your way instead of trying to figure out why it isn’t working. I’m tired of trying to jump through hoops to get food. I’d rather go all the way across town to Starbucks for coffee that isn’t so great, but at least I know I’m going to get my food. Fix these issues, and I’ll come back. But for now it’s just too much hassle.
EDIT: I can’t seem to reply to you, Greenbean. I just called the store before posting this review and was told the manager said there was nothing that could be done and you don’t accept phone orders. “It’s a third party app and unfortunately we can’t do anything about it” was the response as well as “This happens a lot”. You might get a lot of orders online, but straight from an employee’s mouth, apparently this happens a lot. And we have called multiple times in the past about this issue. We were issued an exception one time for an over the phone order....
Read moreThis has become my favorite place to spend my time and money. Their new building has so much space and as always, is still a safe space for all people. Their coffee is delicious, not the burnt stuff you get from that other big name place. They diligently have picked their coffee roasts and only serve the best quality products. Especially the baked goods! They support local small bakeries and sell their products like gobs, scones, cinnamon buns, and chocolate covered pretzels. The food has always been delicious and their new expanded menu has some yummy options I can’t wait to try! I also can’t wait to try their bagels shipped in fresh from NYC!! This is a business I will 100% stand behind. Their mission to serve the community they are a part of is evident. Their work with local law enforcement, suicide awareness, and their suspended coffee program to provide a cup of coffee to anyone who needs it without question. This is more than just a business to the owners. It’s a way to impact the community in a positive manner. I’ll gladly pay $6 for my large delicious coffee knowing that it’s going to support our community as a whole and not a corporation. One final note, my husband used to hate coffee. Green bean has opened his eyes to a whole new world of coffee. But even if you don’t like coffee, they have so many other caffeinated and non-caffeinated options like smoothies, teas, and lemonades. I’ve never been unhappy leaving...
Read moreI really love this environment as an independent work zone. As someone who has spent copious amounts of time stationed at a table indulging in a delicious coffee drink and the occasional mac and cheese, I find the bathroom procedures incredibly frustrating. Over winter break of 2023, I was able to work diligently for hours at a time in a lovely environment, and head to the bathroom as needed without awkwardly standing at the end of a counter to ask for a restroom key. Not only is it a recurring inconvenience (for women menstruating, for individuals with little kids, or for anyone contending with urinary or bowel issues) it's actually kind of gross. I take a plastic spoon into a bathroom with me and return it to the staff making drinks? The utensils with keys attached to them go in and out of the bathrooms all day... and every time I come up to the counter the staff has to stop whatever they're doing to guess my gender, pick it up, and hand it to me? I imagine there must have been some pretty consistent misuse of the facilities to warrant this. But sometimes I go out of my way to find another place to sip and work where I know I can head to the bathroom freely -- which is a shame because this is hands down my favorite...
