I finally broke down and tried it....didnt want to but the 'Rona was limiting my options. I was resistant because of the name. I was wrong!! A+ establishment, food, staff, and management. Thats pretty high marks from me in just one visit and i will tell you why. First though, the name....it brought up a vision of a paper plate tv dinner enchilada meal served by a gum smacking teen who rolls her eyes with blasting mariachi music and screaming kids. Like a ChuckECheeses of Mexican restaurants. And in these strange times i shouldnt have judged the book at all until i opened its doors and was warmly greeted. IT WAS 45 MINUTES TIL CLOSE! I was WARMLY greeted! I sat at the bar which seems to be the central location here with 2 large screen tvs facing each direction and the countertop was graciously big, no crowding and spilling and rearranging for room. I was quickly attended to by bartender who hovered nearby but was not encroaching nor made me feel in a hurry, like he was just there and ready. Knowledgable and well spoken. All the employees were the same and i felt as if they were actually glad i was there and were all available if i needed anything. The manager was very pleasant and our food was promptly but not to promptly bagged neatly and ready to go. As I left, i looked back to see if they acted as if i was holding them up, quickly shutting doors and turning off lights but no, they seemed ready for the next customer even though there were only minutes left in the work day. At home i unpacked our meal and was extremely surprised at the care taken in packing and also presentation of our meal as if they were concerned that their job didnt end at the bag handoff and receipt signing but that they were with us til we finished. Original dishes and variations of traditionals were what comprised the menu and i took advantage of this by ordering stuffed avacados and an entree i wont usually order when dining out...chicken. I will end this by saying that both were really well prepared and tasted excellent and you who are reading this should be in your car halfway there by now! Great Job to yall at Mr....

Food great, but LOOK AT YOUR BILL. Last night we took my brother and sister out for dinner. We had a great time, good food and everyone ordered 1 drink. When the bill came, we didn't pay that close attention to it until my sister realized that the waiter was hinting that we guess how much the bill was. When she guessed and I told her it was nearly double she was shocked. We took a closer look and they had put 2 beers on the bill and charged extra on the drinks then the listed price. When we showed them the mistake, they went to take it off. Then brought the new bill, but then that one had two additional small margaritas. So we took it back to them again. Later our server let us know that the general manager had his friends sitting a few tables away and will put his friends drinks on other people's bills and give them free food. I hope the owner see this so they can correct the bad hiring and hopefully make more reasonable priced food and drinks since no one will be there stealing from them. I say this because while the food is good, the prices are bit high for the area and...

Host straight up lied about not having boxes for individual plates for to go orders. I told him I needed 14 plates to go, I had multiple job sites to go too, and instead he gave me serving trays. No plates or silverware, nada. I have ordered food from here multiple times and gotten individual plates. This was a $330 order and couldn't simply do ask ased. Then repeatedly lied that saying they don't have plates for individual orders. I told him don't lie, ive picked up food for my wife and I plenty of times and gotten individual meals. But he just kept on lying, I'll just take my business elsewhere. I pick up for for my jobs everyday, hundreds of dollars. If they can't handle a easy order, I know of plenty of places they love the big orders straight up.

And the food ain't all that great, especially when it's stuffed in big aluminum trays. Also wasn't enough to feed 14 people, maybe 12. Another reason for the individual plates, to makes sure the right amount of...

5 stars doesnt do the justice it needs to too this wonderful restaurant. My Fiance and I tried the sampler to start (something I'd recommend to everyone before they order) and it was amazing. It really showed off all the different foods they prepare here. The food was wonderful and tasted just how traditional Mexican Cantina food should! My fiance wasnt too impressed with the sauce on her enchiladas but the meat inside was flavorful and well mixed. The atmosphere is wonderful and they have hand stitched blankets on the wall with beautiful embroideries. The facility is new but still has that traditional Mexican feel. The window into the kitchen where you can see them making tortillas and your food is wonderful, you can see how sanitary they are and how they cook your food! All around like I said 5 stars doesnt do this wonderful gem of a place justice!

This was a nice experience. The server was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice, not too loud and not too crowded. The food came out quick. It was hot, tasted good. Nothing was wrong with either of our 2 plates or the chile con queso. There were 2 issues but they were small ones that the overall experience made even less noticeable. The first was our server tried to take my roommate alcohol order but didn't speak enough English too properly make it. He ended up making something similar which she ended up enjoying a lot. What she wanted was an Amareto Sour. What she got was a Sour Amareto Margarita The second issue was we got 2 baskets of stale chips before they realized it and gave us a big fresh basket to make up for it. Overall we plan to go back. It was a wonderful and close restaurant to our house.

First time here, won't be the last. Bartender was super attentive and even the manager was is attentive. The Mexican martini is a must try if that is your thing. The skinny Margarita is also good if you get it with an extra shot. 😉 The queso was good. You can either choose from white or yellow. We chose the yellow but we hear the white is better. Now you know ain't no place going to survive if they don't have good chips and salsa. The chips are nice and crunchy they're hard. So you know if you're going to dive into some guacamole the chip ain't going to break in half! Beef fajitas are good. If you get a chance to try them you most definitely must! The prices are very fair on just about everything on the menu. The menu. OMG it's like a book! I had to use Google maps to navigate it LOL
