I had a very unfortunate experience at the location on I40 and Grand today. On my way to work, I decided to purchase lunch and dinner for my night shift and graveyard shift. I drove up to the location at 10:18 am. I understand this location opens its doors and begins taking orders at 10:30 am.
I still had some time and I decided to wait a few minutes, I pulled next to the speaker and shut off my vehicle, since diesel trucks are loud and make noise over the speaker. No one spoke to me, nothing but silence until 10:38 when I decided to pull up to the 2nd window, as I assumed maybe the employees had not seen me. When I got to the 2nd window, I could see orders on the counter in bags. I assumed maybe they were taking orders on the inside only.
I parked my truck and walked up to the doors, which to my surprise were locked. By this time it was 10:42. I could see the employees standing behind the counter laughing at me. Including one whom had a headset on.
In the time it took me to drive around the building and attempt to go inside, get back in my truck, someone was pulling out of the drive thru in a black ford. I can only assume they ordered something, and were on their way out.
Again, I attempted to go into the drive thru because I really needed my food for my late shifts tonight. Again, nothing was ever spoken to me from the speaker. I waited a few more minutes before ultimately leaving. I'm not upset about the having to wait, its how the employees behavior towards me affected the rest of my day.
Had I known they do not take orders, or even unlock the doors past 10:45...I would have gone elsewhere as my shift began at 11 am.
This is not a one time isolated incident. This has happened multiple times, but this time, it was upsetting enough I finally contacted someone at this establishment.
I managed to get to work on time, and now I go through the day upset about these events. The behavior from the employees was not acceptable...

I had to choose other sides that I wasnāt interested in. Lynette the cashier initially assisting me gave me a total of 37.99 and when I came to the window she changed the amount to 41. And some change. I asked her why she said that the tea amount had changed from a cup to a gallon. I said okay. How about you give me a credit because you didnāt have any of the sides I wanted and she procede with an a attitude . I requested manager and she gave an attitude again. Telling her and I quote, she want to talk to you with a sarcastic tone. Manager approached window and she explained that their truck hadnāt been there and that is why they didnāt have anything. Manager handled the situation professionally however the associate Lynette was just behind her grabbing her hair. I thanked stweart for the professionalism however being in customer service for 10 years i can say Lynette needs more training in dealing with irate customers, especially when Itās not the customers fault that their truck...

I ordered the #2 which comes with 7 tenders.. upgraded my drink to a 44 for .44cents more fries as my side and a family order of corn nuggets... we get down the road and the #2 is supposed to have 7tenders.. it only had 4 tenders... my husband and I were sharing this so obviously we ended up a little hungry...and pretty upset as we spent $22on what 4 tenders... ridiculous... as travelers no point on turning around or even callong to complain not like we will be back to fix our order... next time I'll go to another chicken place where the staff not only gets the order correct, but is knowledgeable in the menu selections to know what goes with what.. 4 tenders is the #1... 7is the #2... I dont even work there and know that... sad thing is ... the receipt was correct... re train your staff... and also... get your lines under control... the speed of service was ridiculous and our food being half missing topped the...
