Starbucks — Restaurant in Amarillo

I used to like Starbucks but now only end up getting something because my husband still enjoys it. This location was recently remodled so it looks nicer than previously. Its always clean and the ambiance is welcoming as are most of the baristas. My main concern is that I feel these baristas haven't been trained properly because they end up screwing up my drinks every single time. I usually just ask for nonfat for the drinks and Decaf because as a breastfeeding mom I don't want to risk passing that onto my child(caffeine). I also can't handle regular milk too well but not a huge fan of the alternatives so nonfat is my go-to as a treat despite the slight repercussions lol. This would probably be my last time going here since I ordered nonfat, no whip, no foam and Decaf. Clearly there was whip cream and after taking a sip it's regular milk and regular espresso. The sticker is clear on the side yet the baristas failed again to make it the way it was ordered. My husband never asks for modifications so his drinks are always fine. I've known a couple other people who asked for mods get their drinks wrong too at this location. Perhaps it's too busy and they don't stop to make sure they're making the beverages right in order to keep up or they simply don't care. All I know is I don't recommend going here if you need any modification to your orders because it won't get done. If you simply need fast and friendly then I'd recommend...

Ordered a tall 6 shot drink in a venti cup instead, to get whole drink since it wouldn't all fit normally in a tall cup. While ordering my drink never was I told that "technically" they are not allowed to do that but hey let's go ahead and charge me for the extra shots anyways that we won't be giving him ... While waiting for the drink to be made my friend was on way to use restroom when one of the employees yells out at him that he can not restrooms are being cleaned . (Mind you we have a long drive to make .) Well seeing that people were in need to use restroom you could tell that the employees could care less while there were 4 employees just shooting the sh*! Behind register. While the barista was arguing with me about not giving me the rest of coffee also in separate cup to go as well which still had shots of espresso that they went ahead and charged for ....none of the other employees moved to oh I don't know maybe clean their bathroom so customers can use them before making another long drive .

So much for customer service here . So make sure if you pay for something that you get what you paid for .... since technically they do not have to at this location ... but will charge you for what you...

I believed that I was making a simple request when I was ordering a royal English breakfast tea with steamed whole milk and a pike coffee with steamed whole milk. The barista cashier informs me there is no milk and I thought that was ridiculous being its a coffee shop but no big deal. I changed it to half and half. Approximately 20 minutes later no coffee and the person behind me just received their beverages. Finally I get my coffee and they are still making the tea with steamed whole milk or so I think. At about the 25 minute mark I just tell the cashier to give me the hot tea plain. What I saw behind the counter was no teamwork and chaos. If your the cashier and you see your baristas busy then make the coffee and tea for them so all they have to do is add the creamer. Don't whisper in their ear another order that's already 20 minutes late that someone else failed to do. I would have asked to speak to the manager but after seeing the chaos of their store I felt it pointless. I hoped maybe a district manager would see the reviews and take a hard look...
