Lupita's Express — Restaurant in Amarillo

The food is great and I stand by the fact that they make good burritos but they can't actually decide on a opening time. When I first went there the lady told me they were open at 7:30am everyday. When I got the chance I would go. Then the next time I went the other lady started telling me she didn't open till 8. I stopped going because I have to be at work at 8am. I drove by and saw a car parked in the drive through and decided to go and saw they changed their hours, and on some days they'd be open at 7:30 and on other days at 8. I only go on 7:30 days. I can get there 5 minutes early to open and I will still wait 15 minutes before someone realizes im there. I've seen other cars drive off because the lady inside is on her phone every morning ignoring the window instead of talking to customers. If they can't open that early then they need to fix their time and open later instead of saying they'll open at a certain time and then ignore customers in line while they sit on the phone...

Went there this morning thinking it was the same as lupitas on bell st !! Horrible !!! Asked for asado they were out so asked for chile relleno they didnt have any !!! Then decided freak it give me beef and potato ! After i paid she decided to tell me they were out or salsa like chile !!! And just handed me my receipt like okkk what can i do now!!! Go around to the other window and the weeds were almost as tall as the building !! Lady handing out the foid looked half asleep and pissed off !!! Noone was friendly or welcoming def will not be going back Oh and did i mention got all yhe way to work to find it wasnt even a beef and potato burrito i asked for !! Some beef meat with sum red sauce which the said they didnt have !!...

This place used to be amazing and we would go here weekly. Now I wonder how they stay open. Not only do you need a 4x4 to get through the parking lot, but the workers have horrible attitudes. I guess they don’t realize that repeat business gets them a paycheck. Also the sign says $3.25 for burritos, it’s marked out and says $3.75. I was charged $4.60 a burrito and when I questioned it, she rose the price to $5.50. Guess I’ll move on to a business that likes...
