I was so excited to see this location open up that I downloaded the rewards app before my first order! After three tries though, I'm just gonna stick with other competitors. Throughout these trips, I've had bland steak, chalky queso, an unpleasant clash of flavors, and a drive thru that just seems rude and careless.
This last time, I tried to redeem my $3 off coupon, but the drive thru cashier told me to wait until after I paid (?). And I did! She hopped to another register to take another order before I paid, but I didn't mind that at all. What really soured me was the other person who helped her.
Person #2 first handed me my order. I thanked her but let her know that I hadn't paid yet. She took my card without even asking about my rewards. I would've liked to use the coupon but I'll just add on the points later. Then after she hands me my receipt, she tries to send me away but I let her know I was still waiting on a drink. No apology. No feelings. Nothing. Just made my drink and sent me on my way. The only thing she told me after each interaction was "Have a good day" in the coldest way possible. She told me this THREE times.
I understand this location has only been open for about two weeks. I realize I was ordering in the evenings. Even though I've only been in the drive thru, it's never been a positive experience and it definitely doesn't live up to the hype I heard from friends who eat Qdoba outside of Amarillo.
The only redeeming factors are the guacamole, shrimp, and rice. I'm sorry, but I'm...
Read moreI hate that i’m writing this review, but here we go.
Ultimately, I love Qdoba always have always will. When this location first opened I came probably 4-5 times the first week. It was awesome! Some of the new store openers from cooperate were there helping them run Qdoba like a champ.
Unfortunately now that things have sunk in and the honey moon stage is over things have changed tremendously. Today was the last straw for myself to actually write a review about it. Walked in and was not greeted. Stood as the only person in line for a couple minutes while the guys looked as managers were too busy joking around, and acting like i wasn’t there. Finally get helped and paid $15 For my meal. Food was great as always, but unfortunately I left without a full stomach. Portions got very small. As I left I wasn’t even acknowledged, very similar from when i entered.
Hoping this was an off day, gonna give it a couple months before i visit again. Thank you guys for good...
Read moreWe were very excited about a QDOBA opening up here. We went in around 5pm to grab some food to go. No one was in front of us so we were waited on very quickly. The young lady that helped us was very friendly. I did notice right off that the food looked as if it had been out for a bit. Not sure how often it is prepared and put out. I almost decided to pass on ordering but the person I was with was excited and loves QDOBA. We each ordered a burrito. I was a little shocked by the price. $28 and some change for 2 burritos. Neither one of us got a drink. Took it home to eat. Not sure if it was an off day but the food was very bland and the protein was a little tough. With the price so high and the taste of the food subpar I'm not sure if we will be back. Staff was very friendly that's the only thing that was great about this place. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because we did eat...
