Just went in to grab dinner, I ordered while manager is mopping the lobby floor. My order popped up on the screen. She then pushes the mop behind the counter next to the table where they make the food. Leans the mop handle on the table then grabs gloves to make my food. So I asked her to wash her hands before she made my food. She then walks to the back and makes a smart comment on her headset to her employees who are working with her they laugh. The young man washed his hands and made my food, which I was cool with. The rude nasty manager then walks to the counter and tells I don’t have to watch them make my food. Clearly I do since you as the manager thinks it’s sanitary to mop then jump right on the table to make someone’s food. I told her I didn’t have a problem with the young man making my order my issue was with her. She stated she doesn’t get paid enough to deal with people like me. Well it’s not my fault you chose the profession or lifestyle but you are the manager on duty. You should definitely conduct yourself as so. Then she proceeded to tell me she didn’t have to serve me, your right but you did because you were wrong and didn’t expect me to say anything about you not washing your hands. My order got placed for Anthony Texas instead of Amarillo obviously. The manager could not be bothered to get off of her butt at the desk in the back on the far left where I could see her to help me with this problem. So Sunday morning and you guys are not very busy and I don't understand why nobody would help me except the girl at the register who tried but was not able to do anything. Once upon a Time Wendy's employees used to take ownership and help customers that had problems with their systems. Sadly those days are far behind. I'm sure I'll stop at this location again but unless I'm able to get my money back this review stands. If you're planning to visit, do not use the mobile app—it will cause all sorts of problems and leave you waiting in front of the drive-thru to talk to someone.
