Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Amber Township

The people here are very kind my sever here was Stephanie! She's very kind I very much enjoyed her company.The atmosphere is kinda bland I did go on a Tuesday at sixish but it just seems bland and a bit depressing.

Now it's such a low rating on here is because of the quality of my food.Our Mozzarella sticks where drenched in grease which I understand that they should but they didn't settle well.Now my burger was mid this time not much seasoning on it I asked for well done but it was medium which ok I understand whatever. Now my fries again greasy like McDonald's but they where so oversalted it was crazy gross. I only ate about half my food it was that disgusting.Was it edible yes but good no.

A couple years I came here and my burger was not cooked at all only on the outside it looked good aside the point this was a couple years ago.

Another incident I had was this April I was going to a Prom with my guy best friend and I ordered Alfredo.There was like zero Alfredo sauce,it was almost all grease but a good amount of chicken but I had asked for no bread stick but I got one and instead no broccoli I was like ok "no br" a typical misunderstanding br could be easily mistaken for broccoli instead of bread stick whatever I guess.

Now today was my younger sisters birthday she got the Happy Birthday and all but there was probably five girls who sang happy birthday but when I had my birthday here I had at least ten but I understand that may have been all they had today anyways her dish that had her ice cream and chocolate fudge brownie had like some sauce on the side like it had barely been washed the inside was clean but it's like for real

Anyways overall I'm not very proud of my local Applebee's here in Ludington I hope this review helps you all out and to spend your money elsewhere

Expensive for the quality of food. On average our orders are correct 1 out of 5 times. It seems there is always something missing or incorrect items or both. Steaks have been less than good for some time. The quality has been going down hill for some time and it keeps getting worse. Often we order a large, expensive order for curb side to go...most to all of the time they bring it all out in ONE over stuffed bag... in one bag that when sat down in our vehicle and spills and falls out all over. When spending $80to $120 plus, couldn't you at least use more than one overstuffed bag that spills all over on the ride home? I always tip, and tip well, often no one cares to make sure all items paid for are accounted for. If asked if everything ordered is in there, the usual answer is, "it should be". They don't confirm or check.

The app has had issues for quite some time. I've had my Applebee's account hacked multiple times with no help from Applebee's at any level. Cannot even delete my account! What? I now only check out as a guest. My credit cards have been compromised there more than once, and two of the cards I've only used there, no where else. Security seems to be a huge issue there. If there were a decent restaurant out that way to choose from, Applebee's would be hurting. The food all tastes the same, which is not great. The only thing that makes me ever order from there is that it is on the way home when I need something quick to grab after work.

Did I mention orders are very often wrong and no one cares!? On the plus side, there are some pleasant...

If you want to eat out at Applebees save some money and go to the frozen aisle at the grocery store, it will taste the same.

If you want to eat out at Applebees because it’s near the movie theater, give your money to the Ludington Meat Company next door, or any other local establishment that will actually contribute its wealth to our town’s economy.

If you want to eat out at Applebees for a fun place to drink, save yourself some time and money and go downtown rather than this joke of a restaurant out on the highway at the edge of civilization. Or just go to the liquor store and combine the 3 ingredients they might have made you in the restaurant for half the cost.

Even subpar restaurants have their time and place, but Applebees does not. This is a corporate chain that benefits off of its targeted marketing towards family customers paired with usually being near a cinema, without actually considering the taste of anything you are going to eat. Not to mention a good amount of the vibe and soul of the actual building has disappeared for commonplace forgettable modern minimalist design after it burned down years ago.

Eat local. Eat at home. Eat sand for all it matters. Do not send earned money up a corporate chain that has no reason to care what you or your community thinks of its food or service.

Chain restaurants with good food at better prices exist, this just is not even close to being one of them.
