Tres Hermanos — Restaurant in American Falls

I have been going to Tres Hermanos for over 15 years. During that time I would often refer to it as one of my favorite places to eat Mexican Food.

Here's what they do well: I love their chips, and salsa that are offered to you while you wait for your meal. It is one of my favorite places to have chips and salsa. There are several meals that I love. My absolute favorite is the steak and chicken fajitas. The portions are generous and often allow for left-overs. The pricing is very fair!

I started coming to the restaurant during the "Javi era", when Javi was in command of the front of the restaurant. Every time I walked in he was so kind and welcoming. After he left, there was a definite loss as the new staff is not as welcoming. Not necessarily a con- something that I felt as a loss. Unfortunately, about that same time we began having issues with our orders. They began to be consistently incorrect, which seems to not have improved. We also frequently ordered breakfast burritos. They seem to be cooked differently and were not as high a quality. There seems to have been a shift in the last bit which has changed the overall experience.

If you call in an order don’t bother going through the drive thru. They like to ignore it. 2. You’re definitely not getting what you’re paying for. 3. They also like talk bad on their customers while they’re still in there so make sure you’re listening. For example I went in today and got my order made wrong I called back and they said to come back in. I was expecting for them to see their mistake and make my order again the right way, since it was their fault. I walked in and only got the items I was missing from my order and disrespect as I was walking out I heard someone talking about me in Spanish without realizing that I understood what she was saying. The dinner in this place was very disappointing. First off you have to stand in line to order just like a fast food joint. Then you go sit in a dining room that is blasted by the sun, no curtains or blinds. There were 4 of us and they brought our food out to us one at a time. 3 of the 4 dinners were incorrect. 2 of them were taco salads, which were specifically ordered with salsa on the side. When they brought them they had ranch dressing on them, and one of them had the hard core of the lettuce and almost no other lettuce at all. I ordered 4 tacos, I received 2 and they were tiny, about 3" corn tortillas and virtually no meat.
