We were here on 3/16/24 for my nieces 33rd birthday dinner. We walked in and the room fell silent. No one greeted us until we stood there for 15 mins or so. Mind you we had reservations for the room to the side. It was nice but no air, vacuum cleaner in the corner, just awful. So we preceeded to order, got the best peach drops so we thought the food would be equally as good. That was not the case. We ordered our food around 6:30 ish didn't get the cold undercooked food until about 8 after they had cleared the main dining area. Our server tried to apologize but it was awful especially the green beans, my bourbon glazed chops were not seasoned dry and tough. We sent back the green beans only to get more undercooked beans. The birthday girls salad was just lettuce with wet Bleu cheese on it. And then spoke to John the chef told him about the green beans he took them off but we still paid some hefty bills for bad service. It's a shame that we are still dealing with this in 2024. I personally won't be going back. And the birthday girls steak had no flavor or sauce. I would hope that as much as Americus is growing this would not be the ongoing treatment, because if it is It Must Be Changed...

Decent service and the atmosphere has always been better than average. But the food is expensive for terrible quality. They make it taste good but the $34 ribeye was tiny and wasn’t even a half inch thick. Three of us ordered the ribeye and one of them wasn’t even a ribeye… it was a culotte! 2 of us ordered the grouper and it was tasty but again, tiny. There couldn’t have been more than 3 ounces of grouper and it’s amazing how thin it was. And they are planning to raise their prices?!

How about you buy good cuts of meat and fish to justify your existing prices?! There’s an idea.

This new owner is assuming that South Georgia folks have never experienced a decent restaurant. It’s a slap in the face.

All you are paying for is atmosphere and it’s not even that great. The food is cheap at best.

But hats off to the chef for making sub par cuts taste good … and for not overcooking those super thin cuts.

Trying to be positive but there was NO value for the...

Terrible customer service from the managerial staff. Our server was great and tried her best to make us happy but when I ordered 2 glasses of wine at $8 a piece (which is fine) upon delivery of the glasses I asked the waitress if she could just up the order to a full bottle before we ever took a sip. She said "sure" then returned a few minutes later and said she couldn't. The manager told her she had to charge us the $8 a piece ($16 total for my wife and I) then she could add a bottle to the order for an additional $30. I'll post a picture of the lacking glass of wine. About 20min later (respectable turn around time) our meals were brought out. I've had better steaks at McDonald's. Not only was it thinner than a Wal-Mart steak it was laced with fat. All around a lacking and insulting experience. I am happy to pay a hefty price for good food but If you're looking to pay a 5 star price for a 1 star experience look no farther. This is your banana in...

It may have been an off night. My son and I were excited to try it, but we were quickly disappointed. The service was very friendly, but it took 30 minutes to get our appetizers. The appetizer sampler was good, but they could've added one more fritter and five more shrimp for the price. The shrimp was average; crab cakes were moist and had good taste, but a little thin. The pimento cheese fritters were very good. The crusted grouper was cooked perfectly, but the sauce was very strong and was not good at all. The crab ravioli was ok - it was a little more al dente than I would've liked, and the sauce was lacking. The cheese cake and chocolate cake were very good.
