Hastee Tastee — Restaurant in Amherst

What an amazing establishment you guys have here! As I was walking through downtown Amherst OH I just so happened to stumble across this establishment. With no recollection of this little ice cream shop on the corner, I decided that I would sit down and give it a try. It was pretty warm considering the time of year and my son was not having it whatsoever, he just wanted to sit down in the cool but I knew that this ice cream would cheer him up. As we got up to the booth we were greeted with amazing customer service. The lady who helped me (I believe her name was Maddy) was excellent! She noticed my son who was unsettled at the moment and she cheered him up by adding a smiley face to our milkshake! And let me tell you, that milkshake was THE BEST milkshake I have ever tasted. The sweat instantly stopped, my body cooled right off, and the taste, oh my goodness the taste! The chocolate was so chocolatey, the whip cream topped it right off, and of course a the cherry was fresh as ever. Not really a good experience. I asked for a brownie sundae and I wanted the brownie on the side not with the ice cream. They told me they "think" they can do that. So when I got to Sundae, I told the teenage girl working there that the brownie was supposed to be on the side, she said yeah it is like I was stupid. they had the brownie literally on the side of the ice cream. Then I ordered some dippin dots for my 2-year-old, and they gave me the package of dippin dots in a cup for me to open for them. I won't...

Firstly they messed the order up, but they did fix it. They child requested the ice be served to her thru the kiddy window- but they only gave the ice cream to the adults thru the kiddy window. The big bummer is that the cups they give the Sundays in aren’t preportionate to how much ice cream they give. The Sunday toppled over out of the cup, my cherry fell on the ground shortly after the handed it to me. My girlfriend and her daughter were covered in ice cream by the end of it. 6/10 experience.
