Quesadillas Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Amherst

Decided to try Quesadillas and I’m actually very disappointed. Multiple people told us it’s better than the Mexican restaurant we go too and it was by far the worst Mexican I’ve ever had (that’s not to say it was completely terrible). The staff was friendly and the piña colada are the only good things I can say about the restaurant. I ordered the steak panchito and they brought me the steak ranchero (we were the only people in the restaurant at the time so I’m not sure how that got messed up ) and my rice was extremely bland. My husband and kids said they liked their food for the most part, my kids probably enjoyed the bland rice because our normal place is a little spicy. Idk if we’ll be returning. If I could do ZERO stars I would. Have not dined here in a year, now I know why . We dined in and upon seating noticed it was severely cold in the restaurant, staff was even wearing jackets and coats . Figured maybe they just turned the heat on and it taking a little to warm up. I thought WRONG. Froze to death during our entire meal. NO HEAT !!! Ordered Carnitas dinner , the meat was HORRIBLE ! Hard as a rock could barely cut it with my knife let alone bite into it. It was worse than BEEF JERKY!! Requested a new plate , I should have just said nope take it off my bill. The second plate was no better! The meat was dry and hard as a rock, my rice was shriveled up and hard like reheated over and over again and served. Avoid this place...

Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Just ordered dinner tonight and ten minutes later my husband went to pick it up. It wasn't ready and there was no cook. After waiting a little while and discounting one of the meals my husband got the food only to realize the order was wrong. Even after "fixing" their mistake it was still wrong. It's been well over an hour since placing the original order and we still have no dinner.
