I’ve been eating at DW’s for nearly as long as I can remember. I fondly recall riding our bikes to buy Garbage Pail Kids at the liquor store next-door, then going to grab malts, shakes, or ice cream at DW’s back in the mid-1980’s. Their Dagwood #2 is my all-time favorite sandwich. When the former owners sold I was so worried DW’s would change and I’d lose my beloved sandwich shop, but I’m so happy to say that DW’s remains the same, amazing, family-owned small business I’ve loved for decades. We’re no longer live close enough to patronize DW’s regularly, but when we visit the area, it’s always on the list of must-visit/must-eat places. Here's my ranking! Texture, had a turkey club... The bread was not dry, almost doughy in texture... Perfect! The bacon had the absolute most luxurious crunch... Yum! 9/10 Taste, the taste was complete. Exactly would you would hope for on an amazing sandwich such as this. 8.5/10 Tummy feel, yummy in my tummy. 9/10

Read moreI use to come here when I lived down the street. I have since moved and just have this place on occasion. Today my mom picked up our subs and got them home. There was barely anything on it and the bread is not as soft. It had the essence of what the sandwich used to be but on a budget. I feel like it had half of the meat and toppings it use to have. It also had a slight shaving of a tomato on it. Very disappointed... I'm going to guess it's under new management because of how cheaply...
