2 stars for the fact that they have a great selection of beers. Otherwise my experience at this restaurant was not good at all. We ordered pizza and wings. Wings came out 10 minutes after our pizza, even though I had asked for them as an appetizer, before we go the pizza, no biggy. The real problem was that I asked for parmesan cheese for our pizza. The server brought out two jars and I passed one down the table. I covered my pizza (3 pieces) with the parmesan cheese (I took of the lid and poured it because I really like parmesan and you cant get hardly any out with the lid on)and then proceed to take a bite of the pizza. Well, you know that first bite is always so hot that you can't even taste the pizza so I waited a minute for the pizza to cool and took my next bite. I smelled something really funny and thought maybe they had some funky garlic on the pizza. I took another bite and started to get nauseated, not only from the smell, but the taste was just rancid. I looked over at the jar of parmesan and saw that it looked very yellow compared to the other jar they had given us. Upon examining the parmesan it was a different texture then the other jar. I then smelled the parmesan and almost puked. It was terrible. My friends smelled it also and confirmed that yes, it smelled horribly rancid and all got grossed out. Mind you, I had already put this cheese all over my pizza. I took the jars back to the bar area where the server was and showed her the difference between the two. She smelled that bad jar and agreed that yes, it smelled horrible and was bad. She told me she was going to throw it out. I told her that I had already ate some of it, felt nauseated and that my pizza was covered with it and I could not eat it. She just said sorry and she would make sure the parmesan cheese was thrown away. I told her that I was glad she was throwing it out, but in the meantime my dinner was spoiled and I didn't feel well. Again all she said was sorry and no mention of trying to remedy the situation that I had paid money and could not even eat my pizza. Yes, I was nice and polite to her when talking. The least she could have done is offer me another pizza or a discount the next time I came in. Guess she didn't...
Read moreOut of the Park is definitely a popular spot to frequent for any age. During the daytime you'll often find families bringing their children here to play in the small arcade while the adults grab some beers and watch a few sports games.
I often come here for a round of beers and pizza because the ambience is nice and they have a pool table that only costs $1 to play. They have a decent selection of beers that you can order by the glass or pitcher and the staff members are also really helpful and like to give some suggestions as well. One of the things I don't like is that the pizza pricing is a little expensive for the size you get and they don't usually put a lot of ingredients on the pizza either. It takes quite a bit of time for your order to be completed but it does come out fresh from the oven so I can't make complaints about that since they do come out fresh and hot every time.
All in all this place is definitely worth trying and is a fun place to kick back with a few friends if you're interested in beer, pizza, sports,...
Read moreWe were here for a kids hockey team lunch and the owner proceeded to accuse my son of stealing tickets and took my son’s winnings away without consulting me. When the child who did steal confessed, my son’s tickets were not returned to him. No apology to me or my son and then the claimed he did when other parents approached him on it. Who treats a kid like this? The owner claimed he had 7000 tickets then changed it to 2500 tickets and anyone who went to Dave and Busters when they had tickets knows what there’s no way my son had more than 250 tickets (that he legitimately won). I can’t believe after another child confessed, he was given $5 for being honest but my son still did not get his tickets back. The owner gave him back the $20 my son spent on the game instead. He wanted to get a prize, not the coins. But this is what you get in a place like this. Go to Wise Guys - the food is MUCH better and they don’t treat children like criminals and then lie when they are wrongfully accusing a child of...
