If I could give it negative stars, I would! This hotel is so unkept and gross! My room had a strange odor from moment I walked in then I noticed how small and dark it was, likely to disguise all the dust and problems in the room. Aesthetically, it's old with noticeable worn, rotted baseboards and painted over rust around tub. I found a spider and dirt/dust in all back corners of wall. We woke up congested from just breathing in all the dirt in this room. I had to rush out in the morning and get my daughter to her games and finally spoke to front desk regarding these issues. The manager, Jaime, asked why I didn't call earlier. When I explained I wasn't aware how bad situation was until following day and wanted to check out, she didn't apologize, just simply proceeded to tell me about all the late check out fees I needed to pay. I told her that this hotel was not what I expected and should not be assessed those fees, in addition to being given an unrealistic time to leave room at 2pm when I was 45 minutes away at 1:10pm. She supposedly had someone take pictures of the room while I was gone and said there was nothing wrong with the room. I told her other parents from team left the hotel and others wanted to leave due to similar situations, but were stuck in a contract. Jaime proceeded to be defensive, speaking over me and not listening. I couldn't believe this is how a manager handles problems with customers. I finally had someone from a separate customer service department talk her into giving me an extra hour to leave. The rep informed me that Jaime said I was rude and yelled at her, which was false and very unprofessional. Don't stay here, it's not worth saving any amount of money for the gross conditions you will stay in and potentially dealing with very poor customer service if you dare complain.

Unpleasant experience, and Not Worth It. If I was treated kind and fair, the price would be fine, I didn’t mind the overall price, but paying to be treated rudely.., I’ll pass. Here’s what happened: My recent stay at Fairfield Inn was, to put it mildly, just okay. The hotel was actually not bad, it’s the service that sucked. The room was not special, but it was not terrible either. At over $220 a night, I expected at least a decent experience, but what I got was far from satisfying. The real issue started at check-in. The receptionist was rude, lacking basic people skills, and left me questioning if I had walked into the wrong place. I had booked and paid online, so I was surprised when she asked for my ID and confirmation number, which was fine. But then she asked for my credit card, the same one I had used to book the room. When I questioned why she needed it, since the payment was already processed, she curtly replied, "All hotels do this." Well, no, they don’t. I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels before, and this isn’t standard procedure. It felt unnecessary, and frankly, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being profiled or unfairly questioned. She looked at the card, handed it back, and that was it. The whole exchange was just plain rude and left a bad taste in my mouth. For a hotel that charges over $220 a night, I expected better treatment. I’m not sure what was going on with the staff, but this isn’t the kind of service anyone should expect, especially not at this price point. If you’re looking for a stay that’s worth your money and hassle-free, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The rooms are dated and could use some renovating but they are pretty clean except for the curtains there are noticeable stains on them. Parking space is ample and the staff there is friendly. They offer free continental breakfast at the front of the facility. The only thing I really have a complaint about is that the traffic noise from the freeway can be heard from within the room; if your room is near the freeway especially. I happened to find ear plugs in the room not sure if it came from the hotel or a previous guest. Overall the place is a good place to stay for a night or two; three nights tops. UPDATE: It's now April of 2022 and I'm staying here again. One thing I had forgot to note is the strong smell of each one, I'm not sure what kind of air freshener they are using but I know it's a very strong smell. Reminiscent of Pears. I noticed after a week long stay 3 years ago, the smell becomes over bearing; well for me in my opinion. Huge headache came over me after the 3rd day and it's now about 3 years later and the smell quickly brought me right back. Rooms are still dated and everything is pretty much the same from 3 years ago. Just the front the desk isn't as friendly as before.

Horrible hotel Stay, DO NOT STAY HERE!| Let me start off by saying my wife and I were taking a fast vacation to the Disney Area and unfortunately this hotel ruined our stay. We checked in pretty late and had nothing but issues. The first room they gave us had a horrible smell. We were not sure if it was smoke, mold, or what but was at the point of not being able to stay in this room. I went back up to the front desk to see what could be done. There was one other room left and they offered it to me. We went to that room and could not get in as the key did not work. We went back up to the front desk. The front desk person re-coded it and we went back to the room to try again. Still did not work. We went back up to the front desk and they sent out maintenance person to let us in. Our keys did not work but they said they would fix it in the morning as this was the last room they had. No matter what it was late, and we just wanted to shower and go to bed. After showering we got into bed to find one of the two beds covered in urine. My shirt, shorts and clothes were soaked. I was mortified. I called the front desk and there was nothing he was able to do and not even a “I am sorry”. It was horrible. I slept in the other bed as it was almost 2 am at this point and we did not know what to do. Through out the night all I could do was smell the urine and I kept getting up to take showers as I felt gross. In the morning I took another shower and then went to go talk to the front desk. They were of no help at all. They said if you are willing to wait around, we can try and find you another room in the hotel. I had gotten no sleep, I had been in 2 rooms that were gross, one that had pee all over the bed. I was not staying there anymore. I had to fight with the women to get the room for free that night as she did not care and could not have been more rude. | I would or expected Marriott to be kind, say I am so sorry, let me find you a place to stay, here is a sister property. Nothing! We packed up and spent the next few hours of our vacation finding another hotel and having to buy new clothes (we only brough a carry on and now had items covered in urine). We lost almost an entire day of our vacation due to this! Horrible! What’s worse is I had to ask for an apology. | I know these things happen. But its how you handle it that makes the difference. I could tell they did not care and more or less were just happy that I checked out! I expected so much more from Marriott. The amount of money we lost due to this issue. Park tickets, rental car, clothes, etc.. Just horrible. | So after my trip I decided to reach out to Marriott, but due to this property being a franchise they were not of much help. They did put me in touch with the property manager. It took me reaching out 4 times to get ahold of him and he finally called me back. He did listen to my story but left me with such a bad taste in my mouth. He accused me or soiling the bed. He said, “with house keeping and others cleaning that room it is almost impossible that urine could have been on that bed and us not notice it”. So to me that feels like he is accusing me. I informed him that I would never do such a thing and no matter what you think at this point its more about understanding what the customer had to go through and showing some compassion. He did not understand! | DO NOT STAY...

The most honest review for my fellow travelers! Would I stay again?….yes but not more than 1-2 days. Here’s why:

Pros: -location is great as we did the beach two days and Disney two days! -pool is decent but was only open two days and freezing. But nobody was using it and it was clean just needs a refurbish. -hot tub same but super small so if strangers get in y’all are sharing a bathtub. SERVICE: the reception folks were so nice and patient with everyone. -BREAKFAST: complimentary and did not disappoint. Staple foods like scrambled eggs and sausage links. With another hot option that rotated and the frittata and quiches were delicious! The staff in there was equally wonderful. Coffee is decent! Juices were good. Yogurt bar with a lot of toppings! Fruit! -direct tv with complimentary premium. -decent Wi-Fi. -shampoo products are amazing -complimentary hair dryer was brand new. -clean enough! No bed bugs is important! -a little gym with a lot of clean water refills! -shower was great and the toilet was a mega flush! -lots of storage space and a pretty decent sized mini fridge! So shop at Vons next door and stock up!

Cons: -so loud! The walls are just paper thin, could smell our neighbors “extracurriculars”. I could Hear what they were watching. Doors slamming. Traffic close by even though I’m a culdesac! Nothing a little white noise machine or ear buds wouldn’t mute! -the keys constantly wouldn’t work, we got like 5 because we’d get back from Disney and they wouldn’t work! -the smell. I didnt expect just floral loveliness but it had a stale smell and the pillows always stink. Even when “fresh”. I think it’s because of the consistent dampness. …and neighbors. -WHY WAS IT ALWAYS DAMP? everything stayed damp. Like everything needed an extra cycle through the dryer but even down to our clothes hanging i the closet and drawers. EVEN THE WALLS AND DOORS. It all had moisture. We’re used to humidity we’re from Texas. We travel a lot. This was not bc of climate only this was a hotel issue and kind of gross. After a long day in the sun you don’t want to sleep in a damp bed. -carpet, ohhhhh I loathe carpet but with how loud it was I bet with laminate or wood it would’ve been louder. -the door always had a bit of a crack to it and the curtains didn’t cover the windows completely so if you’re light sensitive this isn’t for you. -the pillows were a joke. Never mind that they smell. They looked so fluffy but as soon as you put your head down it just sank. No matter if you used 4 pillows!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay for the cost! We’d come back for a day or two...
