It was our 1st time eating there. They have so many choices. We had the Ahi poke bowl on brown rice and the battered fish with fries and kale slaw and shared a grilled cajun shrimp skewer. We drank their natural root beer and pineapple cream sodas. The food servings were large enough that we brought half home. They do not sell brand name soft drinks but the sodas were very good and they had several choices. I didn't count but I think there were at least 8. They also have some wine and beer but I didn't notice what kind. You order and pay at the counter and they bring it to the table if you eat there. The menu is on a big board inside the door and there are dozens of choices. They say their fish is fresh daily and I believe it. My Ahi was butter tender and the battered fish was moist and flaky inside the perfectly fried and seasoned batter. The fries were nicely seasoned but limp. They tasted so good we didn't mind that at all. If you don't like kale you still might like the slaw. The shrimp skewer had 8 medium size juicy shrimp. Their seating is self service and your choices are either tall bar tables and chairs or booths for 4. They also have a long seating area against 1 wall with several tables and 1 chair each so a couple can sit facing each other. We definitely will eat there again unless we find one closer to home. This one is about 30 miles away from us. Parking is shared with all kinds of other businesses but we didn't find it hard to park close. I did not notice any handicap parking near this...
Read moreI came here for the first time on 10/21/23. My experience was terrible. I ordered online and it said it would take 15 minutes. My order was supposed to be ready at 4:58PM but I didn’t end up walking out of there until 5:40PM. The staff was horrible. I came in and I asked for my food and they told me they were waiting on the coconut shrimp. I sat and I waited for 20 minutes and then I got up and I asked about it again and this tall white man working told me it would be a few more minutes, then I asked for a cup for soda while I waited for my order and the man gave me a cup. More time went by and then the same man asked me… have you been helped? I got so frustrated because he had helped me twice already, but he still didn’t remember that I was the only person standing there waiting for my food? I said I’ve been waiting!! For my order! And apparently it had just been sitting. There was another customer that was arguing with the staff, because they had not gotten everything that they had ordered. I was trying to be polite while I was waiting that long for my food, but I guess you really do have to bark at this staff to get your meal here. I don’t know if the food was good or not because it was soggy. I paid $30 for a gross soggy meal. I’m never coming back to this location. These workers must be high or something, they...
Read moreDirty Dining Area!
We would have left if we knew. You don't get to see the entire dining area until you order, get a number and find a table to sit. Empty tables had dirty plates and dirty napkins and were rice all over the floor O_o. There was a customer that agreed with us. We thought of leaving, but since we ordered our food we were like, "hhhmm...alright, we're already here so might as well stay" ugh!
We found a "clean" table that one of the staff just wiped down, but it was wet and sticky from the wet rag he used.
The food we had was okay. I liked the menu. They had a variety of seafood to choose from and you can get them on a salad, wraps, rice and tacos. El Hubby had their GIANT SHRIMP $13 plate over rice. Shrimp were large and perfectly grilled. It was very good. But the rice was a lil tough. I had the FRIED CALAMARI and FISH $10 with coleslaw and grilled zucchini. It was on the dry side, but the tar tar sauce helped a lot. The coleslaw was very bland. My fav was the grilled zucchini. I like the grilled flavor, but I can make that at home.
Food wasn't good enough for us to come back and give it...
