Sarkis Pastry — Restaurant in Anaheim

That was shared in a Facebook posting that this baklava is better than waiting for Costco to sell at Christmas. My friend was from out of state and she & I decided we must try this Bakery. It was an extra drive for us but we found it. We saw freshly baked pastries, cookies and Middle Eastern treats we've never seen before. We both ordered several pieces of flavors we thought we might enjoy and each spent $20. That was very expensive for our budget but we thought we could do it in this case. We put the takeout containers on our kitchen counter. Because of pieces are so small we found family members kept taking little bites of the pistachio and walnut filled baklava and the sugar type cookies were completely delicious and irresistible. So $20 was high for a small take-out container but we enjoyed it all very much. The baklava small in height and not super crispy so this Bakery keeps the layers less airy but just a rich flavor. This place has very good treats not too sweet, I would give 5 star if it was not for the guy who is there each time me and my family buy from him he always serve us very old cake that that r sooooooo dry even the whipping cream dried. Disappointed by customer service! Older Lady was very rude and rushing things up while no one was at the shop! Packed almost 3lb of pastry that I ordered in small plastic container and she tried to close the lid hard and smashed the pastry until I told her to plz put it in larger container!
