We were in the area to watch Aquaman at a nearby theater. It was a week after opening night, so we got there early to reserve our tickets. Boyfriend scoped out the area for lunch and brought us here because he read raving reviews about their quality of service and their famed fish tacos. He's all about good service, so he wanted to check it out.
They greet you upon entrance with a "Hello, how are you?", which was quite refreshing. It made us feel welcomed as first time comers. We mentioned we have never been here and asked for recommendations. Luckily, the menu lists best sellers first, but she did call out the fish tacos and combo meals.
Boyfriend chose the two taco combo with rice and beans, brother got four tacos (lengua, al pastor, fish and carne asada) and I picked up two tacos (battered fish & shrimp). Portions were incredibly generous with their fillings and all other condiments were self serviced (salsa, radish, jalapeños).
Overall, meal was super solid and I would totally come back for their crispy fish and crispy shrimp tacos. I'm actually curious to try their tortas! It's been a super long time since I've had one haha, so I guess I'll save that for...
Read moreThis place is just good and yummy. Is it great... no. But it's good.
Small place in a strip mall right between a Taekwondo place and a bank. Small restaurant that only gets crowded at lunch.
They have a variety of classic mexican food (Asada everything, Chicken everything) but I still think the good stuff is the seafood.
It's not high quality... it's just yummy.
Whether it's classic fish tacos (deep fried), or grilled... or shrimp tacos... it's all very good. Their salsa bar although small has these great pickled red onions and it's always fresh. Overall, I think everybody will find something they can eat here.
The only downsides are that sometimes the fish is really oily (like their fryer does not have the right temperature) and sometimes they put too much cream sauce on the fish tacos (you can always ask for it not to be there). Small annoyances only... so... no big deal.
So if you're in the mood for some mexican... go. It's much better than something you can get...

We came on a Sunday around 1230 pm. It was like 17 of us, it was not the expected amount of people. It was originally 7 of us.
Even though the place is small, our party was a big large, and the restaurant crew were not expecting us, the staff was still excellent. We put some tables together, we all got to order our food quickly and the food didn’t take really too long before they were calling our number.
The food was really delicious, and tasted fresh. I had the ceviche with shrimp. It was really tasty and good. They make their own tostadas and their own nacho chips.
I also tried the carne asada tacos that someone else had ordered and no complaints. Everything was on point, everyone was happy.
Cool little place to eat! It’s worth...
