Wienerschnitzel — Restaurant in Anaheim

I like coming here every once in awhile. Growing up this place was one of my favorite places. The service is great and I always see the staff putting in effort and working hard to keep the place up and running but this particular restaurant needs a complete makeover. Honestly it probably needs to be bulldozed and rebuilt. The place looks old, outdated and dreary so it doesn't look clean but it's because its old. Unfortunately the quality of food has gone down as well. The hot dogs have a weird texture. They snap when you eat them. The chili isn't think like it once was and the flavor isn't as bold as it used to be. The corn dogs batter is the same and it's still Fantastic but again, the hot dogs are just weird. It's one of those foods you take a few bites of but after those bites, it no longer taste good. I will still vist now and then. I hope the chain goes back to what...

I simply ordered a chocolate dipped cone, watermelon lemonade, and an orange cream float (basically advertised as an orange crush soda with vanilaa ice cream). After about 5 kinutes sitting in front of the speaker we get to the window. About 7 minutes later, I was handed the lemonade and an orange dipped cone which I quickly corrected to chocolate dipped as ordered...and on my receipt. She hands me the lemondade, no straw, walks away and comes back with the correct cone and what appeared to be the float...possibly. By this point I wasn't even paying attention to the "float". After driving away, my fiancée wonders what is "crunchy" in her drink and why it is blended. It basically was a vanilla shake they blended with the orange dip chocolate. I ordered a number 1 with cheese and a large coke with no ice, 2 hot dogs with ketchup and a chili cheese dog on the side. The guy at the window was nice, but said that he only heard me say 1 ketchup dog instead of 2 when ringing me up.I said it was fine, that he can ring me up for the second one. We'll, he rang me up, but I still only received the one ketchup dog. I'm disappointed because I drive from Anaheim to Long Beach and the ketchup dogs are for my 4 year old. I wanted to have our food since it's on my way home to him, but now I have to stop at another place to get him his second hot dog or find him something else to eat.
