Bagel Bistro — Restaurant in Andover Township

I love bagels and all, but everyone in that place needs a good ole attitude check. I went in there at 2:03 SHARP in the afternoon (they close at 2:30) to treat myself to a nice taylor ham sandwich and right when I walked in I was hit with the fact that they couldn't make any sandwiches for me because they’re stove/ovens were off. So of course, my hopes and dreams were crushed right off the bat, but I decided to not let that get me down and I went with a bagel instead. I asked for a garlic bagel with cream cheese and what does the lady do? She aggressively snatched the bagel up with her demon claws, slapped some cream cheese on it and threw it in the bag because apparently the toaster was off as well even though it would’ve only taken a few minutes more. I was flabbergasted at this savage behavior, but I still ended up paying for it and getting the hell out of there while I still could before I suffocated in that stench we folks would like to call “stank attitude”. HOLY MOLY!! Hubby and I have tried multiple bagel places in the area. And alot were good. But this place takes the cake!!! I've been wanting to try, and today was the day! I ordered a BEC with SPK on a Cinnamon Apple Bagel. 1st of all I've never had that bagel anywhere ever! It was So so so soft!!! And delicious! Perfect pair for savory and sweet! Hubby opted for a BE with pepper on an everything ! ALSO delicious!!! We even got a pumpkin Muffin! Shut the front door! DELICIOUS! The atmosphere was FANTASTIC! and it's silly but I LOVE their ordering system! That note pad makes it nearly impossible to get it messed up! Very efficient! And the price! Just left a different bagel place since they were not protecting my safety during this Covid-19 pandemic, so I go here in hopes of a better outcome...but alas, no. The front end staff had all their noses above the masks; do they not know how masks work? Not know how germs work? Not understand how air flows from the nose? That could be forgiven, but then I look in the back where the food is being prepped, no masks at all, and the older man in cook's whites strolls out in front of everyone and starts pawing all the bagels and moving them around...no gloves, no mask,... not a care in the world. I want to support local business in this difficult time, but they couldn't care less about...
