Gabrielle’s Pizzeria & Restaurant — Restaurant in Andover Township

I drove by this restaurant this morning and was excited to see they are serving Mexican food. Sadly, I won’t be ordering food here again. I can’t speak on the service or atmosphere because we ordered online and my husband picked it up. However, the food is awful. I’m surprised that there are positive reviews.

I ordered beef fajitas. The meat was dry, overcooked, and flavorless. The rice was bland and oily. The tortillas weren’t edible. I forced myself to eat what I could because I was hungry and had forgotten to take something out to make for dinner.

I was excited to see flan on the menu. Unfortunately, it was prepackaged, not homemade. I took one bite and had to throw it away. It wasn’t edible.

Zepoles were also not good. The tortellini Alfredo pizza didn’t taste like Alfredo. It just tasted like butter and butter.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but in this case, I want to prevent anyone from spending their hard-earned money here. Go to Pizza One in Sparta instead. Or for Mexican, check out Chapala Grill or Lola’s...

My family is the type to eat out Italian 1-2 times per week. I've been going to Pezzo's on and off for years, not as much as of lately. For starters they have been consistently screwing up simple orders, my guess is that it involves the young staff answering calls. I also notice that when paying it appears they maybe* attempting to overcharge me, regularly. Recently I asked how much my order was, he said $62 very clearly. Now for what I ordered that was a hefty price tag. When I questioned him that $62 became a $52 quickly and blamed me for not understanding him. I'd agree with that if that wasn't the 3rd or so mis-understanding in the past 3 months. The food is good but I don't stand for over charging and screwed up orders regularly. I been ordering from this Pizzeria for 6 years. Food is great never a problem. Till these last two weeks. New delivery guys are very disrespectful we have a driveway but yet the delivery guys feel that is ok to drive and park on my grass this has never happened before. We asked the deliver guys please do not park on the grass and they gave us an attitude and stood in front of my house like they were going to do something. I have this all on camera.I called pezzo and was told they were brought out by a new owner. Which I can't believe the staff has always been so nice and the owner also. I am going to stop by to see if indeed pezzos has been brought out. It will be a shame to lose good food and great people. I personally will never order from them.
