We went there at around 2:10 p.m. Surprisingly, the place had no one there! This place is very underrated and hidden. The restaurant is pretty clean and the atmosphere was very relaxing! The worker there was very kind and patient with us. She was absolutely amazing! When I saw the menu, I was shocked at the cheap prices and the food was absolutely worth it for the price! The portion was just right and the flavor were perfect and not too strong like most Asian restaurants I’ve been to. I devoured every food that was served! What’s even better was coming in at lunch time! We were both given a free egg roll and it was delicious! Additionally for dessert, we both got a donut, that was a wonderful treat! The hot oolong tea that I ordered was so refreshing and had an addicting after taste. It was awesome! Lastly, I ordered a mango with sticky rice for to go and that was on the sweeter side, however, it was pretty good! Overall, loved the experience, the food, the atmosphere, the worker, the prices and the place. Definitely will come back! This place is so underrated and more people should absolutely come try it out with their...
Read moreI have never been to the original Chiang Mai that some have mentioned as the best Thai in Wichita, but after 2 carry-out purchases, I doubt we'll be back.
Last night we had two orders of beef pad see eww, 1 order of massaman curry, an order of egg rolls, and an order of fried rice.
One pad see eww was ordered hot and it had zero heat. The rice and pad see ewws were dry and underflavored. The portions were comparatively small compared to locations like Tum Tim Thai and Thai Tradition. The curry was closer to a yellow curry than the massaman. The egg rolls were fine.
I was really excited to have a highly-regarded Thai restaurant in our Andover neighborhood, but both times we have gotten food here, it's been totally...
Read moreI went to this place during their lunch rush and it wasn't very busy. I ordered the Chiang Mai Khao Soi which came with an egg roll. The egg roll was quite good but the Chiang Mai Khao Soi was excellent. It wasn't what I expected--to be fair, I didn't know what to expect--but it was fantastic. It was crispy noodles with chicken, onion, and beansprouts in this amazing broth. It's not terribly spicy so I'll probably ask for spicier next time. Definitely worth a visit if you're...
