Spangles — Restaurant in Andover

EDIT 7/21/2024 So I stopped by Spangles (Andover) for dinner. #10, as usual. The young man at the window, Micol, decided that it was a good choice to fake an overdramatic need to sneeze while at the window. I was in a mask because I am immunocompromised. Not only did I not find it funny, I found it so profoundly unnecessary and disrespectful.

Spangles just lost a customer, and Micol is the reason. Do better, Micol. In a time where immunocompromised people are doing their very best to safely exist in public spaces, people like you make it harder and less safe for us. I hope it was worth it, trying to get a rise out of me or a chuckle out of the kitchen. Your parents must be very proud.

Anyway, Spangles, please use this as a learning opportunity for Micol and anyone else who may not be aware that this sort of behavior is unprofessional, rude, and isn't helping to retain customers.

I don't know what's up with this location. But I never get out of there in under 20 minutes whether I do drive thru or go in. They are very short staffed. If it wasn't for the friendly evening manager I'd give 1 star. I've never actually been and had my order cooked right. Took 30 minutes once for a hamburger and small fry. The hamburger sat for over 10 minutes while waiting on fries, I eventually had to say I've been waiting 30 minutes can one of those orders of fries go with my hamburger that's been sitting there?? Then the hamburger was made wrong lol. In this crazy rush the only cook back there went on break for 15 minutes, so nobody was actually cooking all this food being ordered. Grilled chicken on pita was deli meat cold once, then another time warm but made with the wrong toppings. Someone needs to pull in management to help these kids out, it's not working! I feel that service and quality has been gradually declining the last six months or so. First itbwad the change of chicken in the pitas, then it was hit and miss on the garlic bread with the salads along with receiving or not receiving salad dressing. Ok, I learned that the salads no longer includes the garlic bread. But here's the crux and maybe the last straw. Got home and found portions of the lettuce was bad and it was also as if the salad was warm out all day... and wilted. This was the oriental salad. Peanuts and noodles seemed slightly soggy or stale and chicken wasnt crispy as ive received before. I went back to the store and was told by a supervisor that the salads are made fresh every morning. That does make it fresh or palatable. No offer for exchange or refund. I threw it out because there is an increased risk of food contamination with salads in this condition. Spangles has been one of my favorites, but I feel the quality...
