Update: We ate there again tonight and while the matron was in the bathroom the rude young man waited on us. He seemed to me to be under great pressure backed by anger and some fear. He gets 1 star. The matron gets 4 stars. The bathroom is not well kept, dirty, but the floor is mopped and the toilet cleaned. The corner by the toilet where the plunger and brush are shows a lot of filth. The trashcan is at the back of the room by the toilet, and they seemed resistant to my suggestion of putting it by the sink nearest the door so patrons can dry their hands, use the towel to open the door an discard the towel in the trashcan before walking out. The light switch is absolutely filthy; appears to have not been cleaned in ten years. I'm giving 2 stars for the bathroom. The matron at the counter who takes your order has a good heart. The cook is diligent. The food gets 5 stars for take-out Chinese food. It is satisfying, good portions, and piping hot. The ingredients are prepared separately then added together so flavors are distinct. The eating area appears kinda clean; the tables seem to have a film on them. My wife liked the egg rolls and said they are very good, stayed hot quite a while. Wife liked the dishes because you can use them over and over in the microwave. Our cat and dog didn't like it because there were...
Read moreI ordered sesame chicken and chicken fried rice combo on line.
First they require a tip just for take out. I have never tipped unless it was served or delivery.
The place seemed to be a hole in the wall place that only offers carry out. I don't have a problem with this type of place, just to let you know there really isn't a place to sit down to eat.
Now I want to brag on the sesame chicken. It was very tender and the sauce was excellent. Best I have ever had. ❤️
I had also ordered the chicken fried rice. I don't recommend spending the extra money to add the meat to the fried rice. It didn't have the egg, onion and peas n carrots that is typical of fried rice. It however was alright tasting for what I call yellow rice.
I was so full from just the half of sesame chicken and the tiny portion of rice that I haven't even tried the egg rolls yet. I have dinner later on. Yum!!!
The lady there just took my card and not much conversation...
Read moreI went in at 7:15 this evening. It was my first time eating here. I ordered a "Roasted Pork Eggroll"...and ate in the restaurant. It was undercooked and mushy...and I could not identify anything that looked like pork. A man came out and set it on my table without a word. It was on a tiny Styrofoam plate...and the plate had a hole burned in it...so my egg roll was touching the table,..which was covered in other peoples food crumbs and grease. It left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth...I put it in the trash....but said nothing about it...and left. The young lady behind the counter was VERY RUDE.. and acted like she hated me when I ordered. I couldn't help but notice the filthy dinning room tables, floor and window blinds COVERED in sticky dust. I will not eat here again...hope I...
