McDonald's — Restaurant in Andover

Every time I have been here is a different story. Never a good one either. Here are just a few of the experiences I've had:

Walked in, one person in front of me (nobody waiting on orders). Ordered my food. Went off to the side to wait. Stood there for 25 minutes (while several other customers were waited on and served their food). Tried waving down a worker for almost 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Asked where my food was, and they said it had already been served. They knew that I never received my order and I never left the counter area. Still had to argue with them over it. Finally got a refund on my receipt, but definitely wasn't happy and never got my food.

Another instance, they called out my order and it was definitely not what I had ordered. When I went back in, it took nearly 10 minutes to get acknowledged again. Had to say it was someone else's order and they acted like I was just trying to get free food. Finally got my correct order, but it took 15 minutes after the fact.

Finally, any time there are at least 3 customers waiting for food, don't be surprised to be waiting for 15+ minutes.

I hate to leave a bad review, but this place is in dire need of help. I normally won't complain over a wait, but this place always acts like I'm in the wrong even after being patient. We were camping nearby and twelve of us decided to order from this McDonald’s for a quick breakfast. We used the app and ordered a lot of different breakfast meals and sandwiches, along with hash browns. Our order was packed and ready for us. We took the food back to our camp and enjoyed a hot, fresh breakfast. Now I know you’re thinking “but this is MCDONALD’S!” but let me tell you, this was the best McDonald’s breakfast we’ve had. Everything was as ordered. Everything was HOT—and FRESH. All needed condiments and utensils were included and enough napkins for our greasy fingers. But the best part of all was the BIG, FLUFFY, SOFT & PILLOWY FRESH BISCUITS!!! Oh.My.Goodness.!!! I had the cheese and egg biscuit sandwich and after I slathered some grape jelly on it-I was in Hog Heaven! Dang they make some good ole biscuits there!!! It’s been five days, I’m back home in the ‘Burgh and I’m craving those darn biscuits! THIS McDonald’s impressed all 12 of us! And this was on Labor Day-a holiday-and they got everything right! We WILL be ordering another big breakfast again soon because those biscuits are calling my name-and yes, I have lots of McD’s nearby in the ‘Burgh-but those folks at 350 E Main know how to bang out some killer biscuits (and everything else!) I don't go to McDonald's anymore, but stopped here because we wanted drinks. An Iced Tea and Coffee... it was disarray. The stores design is terrible compared to how I remember them 10+ years ago... the prices for "fast" food is outrageous now. Anyways we ordered these 2 drinks and it took like 25 mins to get them, they seemed really backed up and slow, everyone even people that ordered entire meals after we did got theirs before us, but their counter is now 2 feet wide so multiple orders can come out, but who knows who's is who's so maybe someone took our drinks? Idk I just heard a lot if banging in the back since it's now blocked from view, besides being able to see like forms of people working back there, who knows. I would say just go into town to much better and cheaper and nicer options than this place. You guys have totally lost the plot line as to why people would come to McDonald's. I will say the Iced tea is still on point and very good from how it used to be so good job there. But whoever designed these modern stores should be fired, terrible makes me never ever stop in again. Glad I didn't order the McNuggets like I thought I might, probably would've been here an hour for that. Pay your people more, you're charging enough, you can afford it, or you'll lose all...
