Pitiful! Ordered on Uber eats and the restaurant forgot the sauce to my dish, leaving me with a worthless meal as most that eat indian food know the sauce makes up a large (and the best) portion of the dish. Contacted the restaurant and they first asked me how far I was, implying they could deliver it. After they realized I was 20 minutes away, they fabricated an excuse that their delivery driver was out and I could drive to pick up the sauce. This would have meant I could not eat my dinner for 40 minutes and anyone that has had cold cooked fish knows how completely awful this would have been. When I told them this wouldn’t work for me and what the other options were to resolve this, they hung up the phone. Both me and my family that had heard the calls were left with our jaws dropped in shock at the blatant lack of customer service. This isn’t even a point about being unable to resolve an issue but the sheer arrogance and disrespect of hanging up the phone on a customer mid conversation. Food is overpriced as well and the quantity is small for the price (and the food is not quality over quantity). Terrible service accentuates the mediocre food to make an utterly...
Read moreDid a takeout - Chicken Tikka Masala and Garlic Naan. They had the food ready on time. There was no one in the restaurant dining outside. But had a table with take out orders
Food Review: Under seasoned - the entree and naan needed additional salt. We can add to the entree but naan is not possible Tikka masala sauce was very tasty but the chicken was not cooked in it. They added pre-cooked (not from tandoor as it should be but boiled) chicken into the pre-made sauce brought it up to temp and served. Horrible. Chicken was tough and had a raw chicken flavor. This is a classic restaurant short cut, I realize but you can do better. Naan was thick, and together with the under-seasoning, was not palatable. Typically naan when you take out is not the best but still I have had way better.
It has been a long time since I visited them and was quickly reminded why I should not go back again. Not worth the $30.
They can fix the issues i had by Seasoning well Do a better job cooking your curry and meat together so flavors come together Make naans thinner.
I have seen Biriyani point i Lowell, cook the naan only when i get there to take out. This is a...
Read moreHubby and I came here for dinner and we like it so far. We both had the tikka masala. Mine in chicken and hubby's was lamb. Both were delicious and I actually preferred my husband's lamb. I might get that next time. The only disappointment was the coconut soup that I'd ordered before dinner. I expected something akin to coconut curry or something savory. What the soup was was a creamy, sweet broth that to me seemed more like it needs to be moved to the dessert menu. It was way too sweet to be a "soup" before the main course. It also seemed like it was nothing but coconut milk with shredded bits of coconut and some spices and then heated up. The consistency reminded me of something you would drink, as if it were hot chocolate. Not a soup to be eaten. So this soup, if you see it on the menu and want to order it, I'm just warning you ahead of time. But the rest was delicious and we'll be back...
