El Potrillo — Restaurant in Andrews

Called in a to-go order on a Saturday morning. Arrived 20 minutes later to a packed parking lot, with a line wrapped around one side of the building for the drive- thru! I knew El Potrillo was going to be good when I saw this crowd. I had the chorizo and egg plate, with extra green sauce. The plate came with rice, refried beans, an chorizo/egg. 4 corn tortillas were also included. Overall, the serving sizes were a little light but perhaps that would be different if I dined in. Usually try to frequent at least once a week. Service can be a little slow, but its usually because they stay quite busy. Went in today and ordered a breakfast pancake platter. The eggs were waayyyy over cooked and the pancakes couldn't be cut into. They were like pieces of rubber. The checkout lady asked if everything was ok and we shared our experience. She just said oh we have a new cook. The food wasn't ate but she made sure to charge full price for everything and offered no apology. We will definitely scale...

Old cafe in a small town with a small menu. But in what they offer, they offer it generously. When ordering build-your-own tacos, they give you 4 very large tortillas to do it where big chain restaurants offer 3 pigsqueak tortillas with their entrees.
