First off I have visited numerous Japanese Restaurants. I’m always nervous trying sushi at a new place never been before. Eel I had was fantastic. Melt in your mouth good. One place in Nashville beat Kobe on Eel. The steak and shrimp was ok. I wish they did Filet. I wasn’t to fond of the sauces they used in the meat and shrimp. I will probably only eat sushi again when I make it back there. Wife had the same and agreed with me on the steak and shrimp. It’s good but a little high for what you get in quality. Read moreOver several visits over the past three years, we have ordered the teriyaki steak, hibachi steak, miso soup, broth soup, and fried dumplings.
The soups haven’t been worth the few dollars we pay - skip those and order more fried dumplings. On the entrees, the steak is cut into cubes and tender; the portions are large. The carrots are very sweet on the hibachi steak.
The drive-thru is convenient, dining in is no more pleasant than ordering out - take it to go and eat at the beautiful nearby rest area where there are picnic tables along Valley River.
My chief complaint is the silverware provided - the forks are very small and so cheaply made, they break. Ask...
Read moreFirst time eating here I ordered the Hibachi Steak and it was so amazing and full of flavor. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection. Never had I ever ate a more juicy and tender steak such as this before. It was that good! The mushrooms also had great flavor with the seasoning and the seared bottoms of the mushroom caps. Both really enhanced the flavor of the white rice it laid on top of. I added soy sauce allow it to absorb into the white rice and used the Hibachi sauce that was in a little container on its own, to dip in the mushrooms. Definitely will be coming...
