This place has went dramatically down hill. I've ordered multiple times and was always given great response and a redo of my food with friendliness and awesomeness even tho the food was always wrong or missing items. This time I order and my entire order is wrong so I just want a refund at this point with bringing food back and I get rudeness on the phone and entering and defensive wanting to exactly show me how he's right and I'm wrong. If I order ONLINE and don't click any toppings for a sub, that means I DONT want it. Not add every topping and mustard to my steak sub. Then tryed to justify it by saying well I gave you a extra 6" which I didn't ask for but would of appreciated if it was correct. Then tryed to say he knows all the food is made correctly bc he's been there 3yrs. Well ive been eating for 6yrs there and never had this issue until a few yrs ago but bc of the kindness id be happy to get it remade in past. Ive never had anyone so determined to argue with me about food you messed up i brought back and said i didnt wanna argue n do this bc its pointless i kindly just want a refund and go about my way. His attitude alone stand offish arrogant ** attitude will be the #1 reason I won't ever come back unless it's new management. I never had this issue before ever. As a business if a customer says there food is wrong and polite says they will bring it back and want a refund you shouldn't argue with the customer and then try to say how THEY are wrong and compare it to ordering from McDonald's. #1 rule in customer service is friendliness n even if you know the customer is wrong THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. And as fast food resturant any food ur #1 goal is to make sure YOUR customer is happy leaving your place. If it's wrong make it right in the means of your facility. Smh. Do better papa. You used to be better than 2cousins now they are...
Read moreI ordered 3 pastas, a gyro, and a side order of 2 pita slices with sauce. My order verbatim was “2 zitis, 1 spaghetti, a chicken gyro with extra grilled onions, not tomato, and extra Ziki sauce, and 2 pita with cucumber sauce.” My boyfriend picked it up for me bc my mom died over the weekend and I don’t have the mental or physical energy to go get anything or cook anything tonight for my family. When he got there, they had prepared 2 orders of 2 pitas with sauce, so he had to pay for them, even though we didn’t order that many. When I got my gyro and opened it up, it was smothered with raw chopped onions, too many to pick out. I called and spoke with the manager who told me they’d make another, but I’d have to pick it up, they wouldn’t bring it to me, or he’d give me a credit for one next time I ordered. When I explained that I really couldn’t come get it, but really can’t eat raw onions, and what was I supposed to eat for dinner if I couldn’t eat that, he said “I don’t know”. He was absolutely rude and not very nice about his employees mistake, which was proved in the order for now the second time. When I told him I’d just take the credit next time since he refused to bring me a fixed one, he said he wrote it down. I worked there for a couple of years and know that if they wrote something on a ticket, it usually gets lost or thrown away within a couple of days, so I’ll probably never get that credit. I still work in a customer service based industry and can say this is probably the worst customer service I have been offered in the last 20 yrs at least, especially given the grieving I’m dealing with right now. The food is okay, but not great, and with the customer service offered tonight, I have been completely turned off from their...
Read moreI'll start with the last sentence for anyone who doesn't want to read the whole review. We won't be returning here. Horrible food and service! It took several minutes to even be acknowledged after walking in. Once they were ready to take our order, the employee asked "what do you want?", or at least that's what I think he said because he mumbled the entire time. We finished placing our order, and were then told it would be about 15 minutes. After 25-30 minutes, we had our food and headed home. We should've checked our food before leaving, but we were hungry, tired, and had the foolish notion that Papa's was in business to sell at least marginally good food capable of satisfying hunger and laziness enough to make customers want to return at some point in the future. Once home, we settled in and began to open up food containers. The first disappointment was that we thought that "cheese sticks" were the deep fried mozzarella sticks when in fact they were cheese breadsticks. Minor misunderstanding on our part. Oh well. At least they were mostly edible and tasted decent. Next, was the calzone that was over-cooked on one side and barely cooked on the other. Overall, it was edible. Last, was the garlic knots. These were completely burnt. I'm not sure how anyone could serve these let alone charge money for them. I was going to go back and complain, but ultimately decided against it based on the level of care that went into our...
