6/13/25 It has been a while since we have been back. First time coming on a Friday night. It's still as adorable as ever! I loved the string lights by the windows. It gave the place such a cozy feel. Everyone working tonight was friendly and patient, while we decided on our orders. They have a nice selection of flavors and several sundae options. I love that they serve the ice cream in cute glass sundae dishes. Most places use paper or styrofoam containers. Not The Little Goat. They're classy!😁 They also provide complimentary water, which is a nice touch since ice cream always makes me thirsty.
Our family had sundaes, scoops, and an ice cream sandwich (Shoo-fly Sammie). I really enjoyed the coconut almond bliss ice cream. I was happy to see many people there. I hope that this family owned and run business continues to be successful! It truly is a wonderful addition to downtown Angier!!!
An adorable, old-fashioned ice cream and candy shop. It is beautifully decorated. The old-fashioned counter and stools, along with the little tables and chairs, are very nostalgic. Loved the old music that was playing, as well. The ice cream was delicious! I tried the caramel apple pie😋! There was a nice selection of candies, too! The owners are very friendly and have put a lot of thought and effort into this new business. I am grateful that they chose to open this cute little shop in Angier. Great addition to the community. We saw many families come in while we were there. I am sure this will be a very popular place to stop in, after going to Jack Marley Park or just walking around town. We're looking forward to visiting again! Thank you.🙂 Welcome...
Read moreOh. My goodness. I went in and felt like I was experiencing my sweet childhood memories all over again! Getting to pick out a little bag of treasured candy, sitting down relaxing at the cute countertop area - down to picking out the creamy flavors of that Wisconsin ice cream in the super colorful, beautiful banana split? Can't tell you how happy I was; it was the perfect after dinner moment with my husband. We had some flavored sodas too - you would think over sugary, but nope! Light, refreshing and in chilled glasses that gleamed. Something you can sit back and sip. We ordered a mint shake to go and they were kind enough to top ot off with two cherries after hearing we both love that part of the shake. Staff was friendly, passionate about the place, and I can imagine that if they had this place in historical eras it would easily be the local hangout like it appeared to be when we got there. Will definitely be back again; the video that Grunt Media did for this adorable little shop is what interested us in going, but I feel like the experience is so much more than what is conveyed. Definitely...

But The Little Goat is so much more than just an ice cream shop. It's a candy lover's paradise! They have a wide variety of classic candies, as well as an incredible selection of freeze-dried candies, which are a fun and unique twist on traditional sweets.
