Chinese Wok — Restaurant in Angleton

I would give less than 1 star if possible. I came from Alvin because the reviews seemed better than our local restaurant. Boy was I wrong. I came in and ordered food (paid cash) first time going there. We got home and ate the food, it was not good at all. Dry flavorless rice, the sauce for the food tasted burnt and the sweet and sour literally tasted sour (bad). I called to see if I could get my money back. Before this, i had already thrown the food in the outside garbage can which at that point, the food was a mixed up mess. The manager demanded I bring the food back for my money and was yelling at me at the phone and gave me nasty attitude. I was nothing but kind and apologized but i had already thrown the food in the garbage and i dont know about you but im not digging in a garbage can just for $20. She just yelled and told me it didnt make sense to refund without bringing the food back and called me a liar. Just awful customer service, first time customers and will never return and an absolute disgrace to places that actually dont mind helping their customers and serve good food! Will not be returning, be warned if you dont like it dont get rid of the food if you cant bring it back or your money is gone....

It gets 2 stars only because the food was decent. Went through the drive thru and the speaker system they have is so old and decrepit you can barely understand what is being said. But the real kicker is that I asked for noodles instead rice, the woman says ok anything else? I say no and pull around. After waiting over 15 minutes for the 1 car in front of me, I pull up and my order is $4 over the menu price. So I question as to why and she says noodles cost more than rice. $4 DOLLAR NOODLE SUBSTITUTION!! After she realized the sticker shocked face she says "you pay or you go".... Had I not been in such a hurry, with no option to stop anywhere else for lunch, I would have promptly driven away. Then when I was able to open the box and see it was only one little section of noodles. This place has seriously lost all of its appeal. So disappointed and frustrated at the terrible...

Not happy! I used the online menu to place an order last night. It should have cost $30.60 (including tax). My husband went to pick it up and they charged him $37.60. I chalked it up to them needing to update the prices on their online menu and was going to let it go. Then, I get a text alert that my card was charged $45.12! I went by when I got off work today. The lady behind the counter tried to tell me that I must have ordered something else. I did not. She then found the order on the register and showed me that it totaled $37.60. I showed her the alert on my phone showing that I was charged $45.12. She insisted that they did not charge me extra! Just because the register shows a certain amount does not mean that is the amount they manually entered into the cc processing machine. I did not appreciate her attitude or the fact that the issue was not resolved....
