Oh noooo service was slow. No Mexican drinks. Coke, jarritos, or Augua Frescas. My husband ordered the pineapple Mocajata no sauce too much pineapple and cheese. My son ordered the enchilada Yolanda. Chicken was good enchiladas were dry. I ordered the tacos de Birria. These were the awful. No cheese the dipping sauce was dry powder from the bottom of the container. I cant believe they would give someone that. I took 1 bite and nope I couldn't. The waiter asked if I wanted something else. I said nope ( I worked at enough Mexican restaurants to know what they do) overall all food was not good. Queso was 10 dollars and was super milky, chips was ok small pieces, salsa was a no but I was hungry so I ate it. I wouldn't even eat here but my hubby loves Mexican food and wants to try everyone we spend the day in. It was a 5/10. Won't be back.

Its was okay. Not really authentic Mexican food, if you ask me. It's a bit structured to fit the demographic in this area. I've never had rice with potatoes and chunks of tomatoes. And the gob of melted cheese on the refried beans is different. I asked for some aguas frescas and none to my surprice. We also ordered Arroz con pollo and we got a mixture of some white cream and a bed of rice with chicken chunks on the side. As I said not really authentic but the general public would never really know. And thus my 3 stars. I personally ordered Carne Asada tacos and I ate those. I was starving so they did the job. I did enjoy their salsa, it was spicy. Never really opened the chips. A bit heavy on the oil.

Went just before 5pm and there was a handwritten sign on the door that they would be closed from 2-5. We decided to wait and after seating the approximately 30 people waiting inside was seated to our booth. The service was prompt and our order taken. My wife has the shrimp fried rice and I had the seafood fried chimichunga and 2 hard shell tacos. The food arrived before we finished the chips and the food was good. I desired a little more heat and ask for some hot sauce and about 10 minutes later he showed up with a bowl of peppers and sauce mixture. It was good but surely not "hot sauce".

We finished our food and waited and waited and waited for our check. We finally got the bill and he said that he would take it and will be right back and again we waited and waited and waited. By this time we spent more time waiting to pay than it took to enjoy the entire meal, including waiting to be seated. By this time I was antognized and took the check to the receptionist as no change was required.

The place is good but there is a serious need for wait staff. My server COULD NOT multitask to save his life!!!!! I will wait awhile until they mature but if service don't improve then i'm afraid it will be a short...

We came with our friends for lunch while on a day trip. Service was not good and I'm not picky. We had to ask for drinks and silverware, the kid's drinks were never brought, my order was completely wrong. Since I got the wrong order, I asked for rice and beans. I was brought a plate where a burrito had clearly been on top of the rice and beans and there was still residual beef all over the plate. They offered to bring another, but at that point I was kind of grossed out and over it. My hubby asked for steak tacos, they came plain, just steak in a tortilla, not even cheese. He asked for cheese (assuming shredded as would normally come on a taco) and got a bowl of cheese sauce that cost 5.25. When my friend and I went to pay (two separate checks) we had been charged for the kid's drinks that never came, my reused plate of rice and beans, and overcharged as we were supposed to get the lunch special having ordered at 2:45. This was all met with frustration and arguing from the staff. We don't ever...

Review for Casa Azteca

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience at Casa Azteca. I ordered a chicken dish, but when I tasted it, everything had a strong fishy flavor, which was confusing and unpleasant. I’m certain I ordered chicken, but it definitely didn’t taste like it.

When I politely tried to let the waitress know I received the wrong order, she didn’t understand me, just smiled and walked away without doing anything to help. There was no attempt to fix the issue or offer any kind of explanation.

When I went to pay, the cashier also didn’t speak English and didn’t say a single word—not even a simple thank you as I walked out. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome.

To make matters worse, when I got home, I became very sick to my stomach and ended up spending most of the day in the bathroom. It was an overall unpleasant experience, and I truly hope the restaurant works on improving communication, food handling, and customer service...
