Ordered 2 pizzas and wings combo online and prepaid. Confirmed on app order was ready before leaving house was working at less than 5 minutes away.
When arriving there was a lady working the front counter for carryout, dine in, and covering the floor, 4-4 tops, 1-2 top, 1-12 top. She was cashier, order taker, server, table busser. This lady was stressed but working her but off
There appeared to one male server standing idley behind the waitress station. Never saw him interact with a customer in the 25 minutes I was in the store. The only work I saw him do was carry dirty dishes the lady bussed into the kitchen
There was a pizza maker who seemed quite busy and an expediter boxing and playing orders. These guys did not stop
My problem was their lack of staffing and the waiter that did nothing. Management should be ashamed to have such low staffing during lunch
I watched my chicken and fries sit on the counter for 10-12 minutes before being placed in the warmer. My pizza was done 20-22 minutes after my chicken. I waited almost twenty five minutes to pick up my order
The pizza was fresh, my chicken was not. As a result of the time spent waiting I had to go back to work and did not get a chance to eat my meal other than what I ate on the drive
If time is a concern I wouldn't trust them to get in done in a reasonable amount of time.
If quality is a concern I would be skeptical my entire order would be fresh. If the pizzas were that backed up, they should have delayed dropping the chicken and fries to finish at the same time.
This pizza hut use to be great but has went down hill. I have had four bad experiences the last four years and didn't return as a result.
They have always blamed labor shortages, nobody wants to work, and call offs. This is a management issue. It is your job to staff and train your employees. You have no problems raising prices or not offering specials in store you can order online, why not pay and treat your workers respectfully and pay them competitively
Edited to say manager followed up this visit by email and phone. Austin took responsibility and accountability for the issues with this order and offered a proposed solution to remedy my concerns and issues.
I did order delivery a week later and received in less time than I spent in their lobby the last time for carryout.
The food in my second order was fresh, accurate, and tasty while the driver and order taker were friendly and efficient.
When they are on their game their game is great. Consistency is the key to return business and I will order from them again in the future and hope to have another...
Read moreWe found ourselves at the lake this weekend with 3 grandkids in tow, it was dinner time and everyone was hungry. Having grown tired of paying extreme prices for restaurants, I suggested Pizza Hut in Angola, Indiana. We hadn’t been there since our 2 girls were very young. To our surprise this Pizza Hut had a total makeover. From an inviting exterior to a really beautifully designed interior, we were very pleasantly surprised. A very polite and attentive waitress took our order. My 9 year old grandson ordered the salad bar, as did I. I was thrilled that the all-you-can-eat Salad bar for kids under 9 is $3.99!! The rest of our party ordered pizza and loved it.
I used to hit Pizza Hut near my workplace in Perrysburg, Ohio and always loved their salad bar, but eventually that Pizza Hut quit doing salad bars. I have to say that this Angola Pizza Hut salad bar was way beyond my expectations. Everything you’d want in a salad bar, and all was super fresh. My grandson eventually ate 3 large plates full, everything from salad, 8 dressings to choose from, cottage cheese, pudding, crackers, and much more…
Everyone was very happy we decided to come here..and they all agreed to go...
Read moreWe ate there at lunch time. The food was great but it felt like the staff had no idea what was going on. The lunch buffet kept running out, they would bring out only one or two pizzas at a time, the entire place was packed so a few people in the line and the pizzas were gone. Our group was seated at the far end of the restaurant so by the time several in our group walked up to get food...... they came back with empty plates. It wasn't until we were basically all ready to leave that they brought out about 6 pizzas and filled the pasta and desserts. But by then the place had cleared out quite a bit. This was at about 1 pm on a Sunday. I just don't understand how they could be so ill equipped to handle an average Sunday Lunch crowd? Like I said, their food was great as always! But having many in our group not be able to even get a slice of pizza during the lunch crowd was very disappointing. Probably won't come back with large group of friends. Only for...
