This place has me very conflicted. My wife and I have been here several times over the past couple months. We've enjoyed the food, and the waiters/waitresses have always been great.
The only issue I've seen (on at least 2 visits) has been that the owner is rude. On one occasion was while dining with 4 adults and 3 children. The two young children specifically wanted their spaghetti with meat sauce, not meatballs... It's minor thing, but you know how 3-4 year olds can be. First, for some reason, our order got misplaced, and took 30+ minutes to come out. Our waitress even came over to let us know something happened to our order and they were getting it asap. No problem, stuff happens. When the order finally came out, the kids got meatballs, not meat sauce. The waitress quickly took them back and returned with the corrected items. Then the owner came over. Rather than apologizing for the delay and mix-up, he showed us the slip that had been written up for the kitchen, showing spaghetti with meatballs. Well, clearly we knew what we ordered, so I guess the waitress mixed it up at some point. But the owner thought that proved we screwed up. What was the point of that interaction?
The owner of this place seems to be trying to kill their own business. Let your staff do their job, and if you don't have customer service skills, stay in the back rather than being rude...
Read moreThought we would try the new Italian restaurant and will not be back. Was not a good meal for any of our 4 family members. Pasta trio was hilarious, lasagna was not any better than a frozen lasagna..the cannaloni and manicotti were sour and so small it was a joke. Why there was a sour taste to the dish was somewhat concerning. The chicken parmigian was so tough and dried out, over microwaved it seemed and lacking any sauce to help give it any kind of life back. Rigatoni with vodka sauce was also lacking enough sauce to make it flavored. The shrimp Alfredo was the most acceptable but still bland compared to any other Italian restaurant I've been to. The rolls were so-so... didn't have much flavor and were basically giant dough balls with a bit of parm cheese sprinkled on them. Not the fluffy giant rolls found at other places. Disappointing pink sauce, really bad smelling shaker parm, smelled like wet towels.. not appealing. Server was sweet, kept thanking us for being patient. Will not return... disappointed. Miss...
Read moreWe will no longer be supporting this establishment due to multiple quality control issues that fail to justify the high prices charged for each dish. First, the Chicken Parmesan tasted cheap, with a marinara sauce that seemed straight out of a can. The Shrimp Alfredo was equally disappointing, with just two pieces of shrimp that were overcooked and flavorless, making the dish taste like water. The Philly cheesesteak lacked any real flavor, coming across as plain and bland. The Chicken Alfredo had barely any chicken, almost no sauce, and the noodles were hard and undercooked. Finally, the cheesecake was a tiny sliver, which felt absurdly overpriced at nearly $6. None of these dishes were worth the $10+ we paid for them, and we expected much better quality and portion sizes for the price.
Update: Their lying response just tells me and should tell you everything you need to know about this business as nothing else in my review was addressed properly or was attempted to...
