Honestly If i could i would give this place 0 stars. We drove up up and the lady that took our order was super sweet. After that everything went down the hole. We tried paying on our Sonic app and it kept giving us an error after we had loaded the loaded the gift card with more than enough to pay for our meal. We tried this several times and then pushed the button for help. They said they would be right out to help us and that it was really weird we were having issues. After 5 minutes they came out and the lady tried to get it to work on their system. It didnt work and so she took a step away from our car and then loudly said "whats so and so's last four digits of their social" then tried again. asked if it had already come out if our bank when we showed her the charges she walked inside. When she reappeared she was on the phone. After hanging up she said that she had called her GM and he didn't even know why it wasn't working. Then she made us drive back to our house to get a card. After coming back to pay for our meal the second time, we hit the button again explained our situation. She said they would be right out. After waiting three people came out of the store. They took our card and went to another terminal. They all grouped around the terminal and when they decided it went through, they handed us our food and then threw my fiance's card at him with the receipt and walked away without saying anything. Read moreI moved into Anna in December 2013. Slowly this Sonic franchise has been slipping. With a new Whataburger and Chik-fil-a opening soon, they need to consider a few additional things. Spurlocks is a great home town drive in cafe. McDonalds is who they are. And the Sonic in Melissa is not that far away. Which is now where I now will drive to if I really want a Sonic something. Oh yes, if you are filtering your water for your Carbonation process, please service/change your filter. If you are not filtering, please consider doing so. If you have not cleaned out your ice machine lately, please consider that as well. Being someone who made coffee for a national chain that started with an "S," this was a monthly cleaning schedule item. I bought my last 44 oz soda from you guys Wednesday morning. That is the last one I'll get from you there for a while. Smelled and tasted like the yummy tap water I have at home. (Sarcasm intended) Maybe I'm spoiled from using filtered water, but I know it makes coffee taste much better consistently. I don't have this problem in Melissa but don't know why. Read moreI have had an issue with my order every time I have gone to this location. (It is close to my moms work and sisters school) The last two times I went to this sonic my Tator tots were drenched in salt and I could not eat them. I even tried to scrape some of the salt off. The service is ridiculously slow. On top of that I order 1 Tator tot and 1 fry but they gave (and charged me) for an extra large Tator tot- so I ended up paying for two inedible large tots.
I was also really upset because one time my car,a big hummer, died right as I backed out of the parking/ordering spot. I knew it was not a great spot for the car to die but I was alone and could not push it or anything. The manager came out and was really irritated he wanted me to move the car. (Which I get- I was in the way, but I’m a 20year old girl I cannot push a big hummer by myself) it had only been about 5 minutes when he came out and there was still room for people to get around me. Luckily a nice customer who was a strong man helped me out and we got the car moved.
Anyway. I just thought it was really rude how he was mad at me for the car dying. I really was trying to call the towing company and get it taken care of. I hope he doesn’t treat other customers...
