Wow I used to love this place. So much so that I would tell everyone I know about it. I decided to take my step dad and his friend after ranting and raving how good it is, but this time the service was absolutely horrible.

A rude Asian man "served" us, if that's what you want to call it. After seating us, he completely ignored the table....no water, no greeting, no taking orders. Even though the place was completely empty, we had to flag him down constantly because he was ignoring us. When we finally did get him to come by, he walked away mid order so we had to try again to get his attention so we could finish ordering. We ordered soju to share and he just dropped the bottle without cups.

He was so rude and acted like he didn't want us there and like we were an inconvenience to him. Then he screwed up our order, didn't apologize, charged us extra for HIS mistake, and refused to give us Togo boxes for our food. It was honestly crazy. Why even have a restaurant if you're going to treat your customers like a burden? A ramen place with no containers for soup?

The food itself was really bad and I'm so embarrassed i recommended this place to anyone. I don't know what happened but it used to be good. And after the completely disrespectful treatment from the server, I will never return and be telling everyone not to go.

I hope you get rid of that man that was working Thursday night, he's running your once great business in the ground. 0/10...

This place was awesome. Came here on a late week night half hour before their closing time. There wasn't too much customers so we didn't have a wait.

Ambiance: Casual. Dimly lit restaurant. Perfect for date night.

Food: Everything came out quick. As others have said, they provide complimentary steamed egg and salad prior to your meal for free.

We ordered: Fried Shrimp and potato: I've never had anything like this, the shrimp was wrapped inside the potato. This combination was off the charts!

Takoyaki (Octopus Balls): These are good. I wouldn't come here specifically for them but if I really crave Takoyaki this place won't disappoint to say the least.

Beef Bibim + Udon: Yup this is one whole meal order. It comes out in huge portion. I think I could've share this entre dish for 2 people. The beef bibimbop was really good, the beef was marinated really well.

Chicken Katsu + Curry Rice: The Katsu was very crunchy and the curry rice was very filling. Definitely could order this again.

Ice Cream cones (Free): Who wouldn't love some free ice cream to seal their night?!

Service: They were quick and attentive. The server was very friendly and easy to talk to.

Overall, I was satisfied with my meal here and hope...

I was looking for a lunch spot and happened upon this place. Miso, oddly enough, doesn’t have a lunch menu, but it’s offerings fell very appropriate for lunchtime. The restaurant itself it rather dark and uninspiring, but the food itself was excellent.

I ordered a Katsu-Noodle Combination, specifically Tonkatsu and Mori Soba. The Tonkatsu was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. It was also tender and juicy and had the signature crispy crust. The Tonkatsu sauce tasted commercially made, but was fine with the Tonkatsu. The Mori Soba noodles were so good. I love their chewiness and distinctive buckwheat taste. Their Mentsuyu (cold broth) was perfectly balanced, comforting, and bright. I enjoyed it very much.

Every Katsu-Noodle Combinations comes with a small side salad, kimchi, pickled daikon, and steamed egg, all of which were delicious compliments to main dishes.

While my server was nice enough, they weren’t very attentive. After taking my order and delivering my food, I did not see them. Once, I even got out of my seat to find them to ask for something.

While the restaurant and service leave much to be desired, I still recommend this spot for their excellent food at a reasonable...

Honestly the portion of the Katsu was small compared to Jang Won, but looking at this place generally, it’s probably a pretty regular sized portion lol. They have katsu and ramen combos for a great price. The ramen was alright - pretty simple even with the spicy version. I finished my whole combo faster than my partner and I’m usually the slow one (I think I was extra hungry since we went straight here after work). There was one man serving all the tables in front. He was so nice and friendly to every person who came in. He made sure to check in with us when he could. They also gave us a free yakult/yogurt drink for each person at the table when we asked for the check. Great place to go to also for the cold weather.

Came here Saturday night for dinner—surprisingly it was pretty empty so got a table right away. The Katsu is good here—loved the Pork Katsu!!! The Chicken Katsu was good too, but I enjoyed the pork one better. The portion is huge and you get some small sides too (egg soup, soup, kimchi, etc.). Tried the Bulgogi Rice—wasn’t a huge fan, the bulgogi wasn’t as flavored as I preferred, and it was cut into extremely tiny pieces which I didn’t prefer either. For take out, I tried the Shrimp Katsu later on—really good too! Overall, Katsu dishes here are great! Prices are reasonable as well. Will have to come back another time to try the other dishes.
