I visited InGrano recently to celebrate my husband's birthday. It was our first time here and we were very excited to try something new after continuously visiting the same restaurants over and over. What an incredibly lovely experience. The decor was charming, service was impeccable, and the food was absolutely fantastic. Lola and Mason gave us personalized service to truly make sure the night was memorable.

To start we ordered the Hamachi Crudo. This was very light, the flavors really complimented the fish which was clearly very fresh. (My husband is very picky with fish, does not like any semblance of "fishy" flavor and loved this). We also tasted the mini octopus tacos and wow these were great down to the blue corn shells. We also ordered the Taste of Spain platter and I cannot stress enough how delightful this was. The Iberico Ham was so high quality and the muhammara will knock your socks off. I could buy quarts of this muhammara.

For our mains we ordered the squid ink tagliatelle and the wagyu short rib wellington. The squid ink pasta was so well complimented by the trapanese sauce. I was (clearly) very full by now but did my best to enjoy as much of this meal as possible. The wellington was delicious and so worth the price. The demi glace wasn't overwhelming and was a nice addition.

We ordered wine, the wine menu was diverse and had great selections for a variety of tastes. Their cocktail menu looked so interesting, I will be glad to try some of these out next time.

Overall, I highly recommend InGrano. It was a lovely experience overall and we already can't wait to return to try out some other plates and especially to get that muhammara I've been...

Overall, a bitter disappointment. We are big fans of the bistro but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired.

The food is grossly overpriced for offerings that mimics the best of the Olive Garden. Atmosphere was affected. Service was ok but rushed: the staff seemed more intent on turning tables than providing a dining experience that matches the prices on the menu. While a limited menu often signals creatively crafter dishes, cream and salt dominated with overpriced protein options. Paying close to $100 for a 16 oz ribeye, no matter its origin, seems a bit extreme.

The stuffed pappardelle: minuscule portions, over salted and more cream than anything else.

Duck Carbonara: Over creamed and over salted... the duck was actually duck prosciutto and almost completely absent. The kitchen may have waved a mallard over pasta they snuck in from Applebee’s.

Octopus Tacos: The mix of cultures completely missed the mark: three tacos about the size of ritz cracker sandwiches.

The Board of Spain: A highlight of the meal, a great selection of cheese, cured meats, olives and signature breads from the Ingrano bakery.

Wine list: A well curated mix of new and old world vintages, with typically restaurant markups.

Service: Our waitress was enthusiastic and attentive but handing us the desert menu with the check was boorish. We’d expect that at Denny’s...not at a restaurant with find dining...

Major shout out to John Buda, Eddy, and the entire team at InGrano West Annapolis. They went above and beyond to provide a delicious fine dining experience for my birthday. It was quite possibly the best fine dining experience I have ever had in Annapolis.

Everything was perfect, the service on point, the wine section thoughtful...We were treated like royalty and I can't wait to return.

We had the yellowfin canolli- to die for. The surf and Turf tapas, inventive and delicious.

My family on my father's side is from Barcelona, so the catalan inspired Pan con Tomate was brilliant, like an elevated old favorite with gorgeous black sourdough.

We devoured the "Board of Spain" which was bursting with Iberico Ham, Chorizo, castle verano olives, manchego puffs, marcona almonds (when you know, you know), foccacia, velvety Muhammad, and Vaughn goat manchego. A celebration of Spanish taste, it was splendid.

The chef sent out a special seared tuna and watermelon appetizer as a treat for my birthday, it was absolutely perfect.

I ended my meal with a Pavlova with blueberry mouse, lemon coulis, violet petals and ginger snap crumble. Which I could have easily taken a bath in, were it at all possible.

Thank you InGrano for a great kick off to my birthday. We...

InGrano is such lovely spot for a special dinner or celebration. The ambiance is lovely in every room, and the private chef’s room is so fun to watch the talented chefs cook. They have lots of fun experiences on the menu such as the smoky old fashioned that comes out with wisps of smoke. The Garden Grove is delicious too. The appetizers appeal so you can sample more of the eclectic menu! I have ordered the Hamachi Crudo many times and it never disappoints. If you are feeling up for a large meal the Waygu beef Wellington is truly a treat. We’ve sampled the Lamb Pesto, the Duck Carbonara, and the Cioppino as well. Next time I want to try some of the vegetarian options at InGrano, the stuffed papardelle or the saffron risotto. I like going here as I know it’s locally owned and the staff is SO NICE. truly such a welcoming environment and a special place. If you’re weighing options for a special occasion dinner or just a relaxing Friday out, I recommend InGrano for sure!
