The game, the pomp and circumstance, as well as the staff and game guests were all nice and helpful. I noticed that the kids were respectful of the military protocols and everyone (at least who I saw) took out their trash when they left the game. The tailgaters were also very neat and the grounds appeared to have very little trash left around.
My one concern was that when I bought my ticket, I did not receive any information about parking. I could not find any trusted links in the schoolβs website and when I received an email a few days before the game about preparing for the game, it also did not include instructions for parking. I asked on the schoolβs facebook page but no one answered.
When I got to the game, all the parking was pre-paid or you had to be an employee. No one working the lots I checked with knew where or how guests parked. I was directed to a school down the street that offered game parking and was surprised to discover it was $25 (their PTA fundraiser.) One parking lot employee showed me the website to sign up for parking but the website doesnβt sell same-day parking. I had this same problem at the University of Alabama and I wonder why. Football games are designed to bring in out of town guests and it needs to be much more easy for us to navigate the process for purchasing tickets to parking and getting...

I am not talking about a bling palace in Dallas or Atlanta, I am talking about a place that has been expanded several times but always paying respect to the great history of our Navy and Marine Corps. The stadium has comfortable seating, good sight lines, adequate restrooms and terrific high definition video boards at either end. The support staff work very hard to insure your comfort and pleasure while here. This stadium has natural turf which is a misnomer since plastic grass is not natural. The field is used 12 months a year by more Navy sports teams that you can count on one hand plus a bowl game and a pro lacrosse team are staged here. A grass field was not practical. The Navy Marine Corps support staff is the only stadium crew who I have seen wash off the markings of a football field and repaint a lacrosse field over night. That is a lot of work! And as a lacrosse purist, when the spring football overlaps with the lacrosse playoffs, you get to view a lacrosse playing field slapped atop a football field which looks terrible on television. Not at Navy Marine Corps...

I particularly liked the grassy area behind the one end zone where families could sit and children could run a little bit to get the wiggles out during the game.
There is lots of parking immediately around the stadium, and a number of the local elementary schools allow Parking there for a reduced rate. Plus it has the added benefit that you are supporting a local school's parent teacher association as opposed to feeding a big corporation your parking fees.
Like most stadiums, the bathrooms are nothing to write home about. However, they did seem a little under-sized in terms of capacity given the size of the stadium.
If you're looking for food options outside the stadium, A block down there is a small local grocery store and a bagel restaurant. Both good options as opposed to...
