Joy Luck I — Restaurant in Annapolis

Walked in, said hello, was greeted with a stare from the college kid with glasses. Looked at the menu, decided on my order, said hello again to the college kid with glasses who continued to just stare blankly at me. Ordered the food, told him we were eating there. Grabbed a soda which turned out to be expired. Bathroom said just for employees, I used it anyways. It stunk like cigarettes and clearly had not been cleaned since the day they opened.

Food came out, no plates, had to ask the college kid with glasses for plates. There was two of us, he asked how many plates do you want....ummmm isn't it obvious?

Clearly the college kid with glasses also wearing open toed shoes with socks is related to the owner bc I would fire him on the spot. His attitude is terrible as he doesn't care one way or the other to be there.

Food was decent.

Atmosphere sucked.

Clearly I should have looked at the reviews before coming here. Sad.

Zero stars, actually. Placed an order with them through Uber Eats. Expected delivery 40-50 minutes which is reasonable for delivery and everything seemed normal. I was keeping tabs on the order for delivery updates. Order was in the car, being driven, even had an Uber driver name and contact who was minutes away according to the app. Open the app again after an hour saying suddenly the restaurant had cancelled my order. No alert, no phone call, nothing from the restaurant. I proceed to call the restaurant and the woman said 'oh yes, let me check' then abruptly hung up and refused to answer the phone after I tried back multiple times. So that was a nice touch after over an hour of waiting. At least communicate if you cannot fulfill an order and contact a person who was about to spend almost $100 at your establishment. I'll take my money elsewhere. This place will be out of business soon if this is...

Terrible service. 1. The person who took order Spoke very poor English. It was almost impossible to communicate. 2. They said they were very busy and it took 1 hour for delivery but pick up would have been 10 min. 3. The delivery person was really Rood yelled at me for not coming down quickly (I came down 4 min after I received a call). 4. There were no forks knifes and napkins in the bag (and we told them that were are staying in the hotel!). I really don’t recommend this place. 2 stars are...
