Misfits Saloon — Restaurant in Anoka

Worst time ever!!! We were judged from the minute we walked in this bar. We live down the street stopped in for the first time the bartenders didn’t pay any attention when they were behind the bar. They disappeared nowhere to be found many times. Where the guest next to us asked another guy to have him get him a drink IF she comes back. We were the only ones in the bar that had to hold our card. I was held $50 when my tab was $16 than changed to $24 still Doesn’t make any sense. Asked the bartenders why she didn’t even know she had my card. Not sure how.. than the older bartender calls the “owner” comes back and says the owner is disappointed in us we profiled them. Truly bad customer service on all ends the owner the bartenders. A lady who was cleaning tables was the only one who said it’s completely wrong for holding $50 on my card. For our first time, stopping in here, the owners who have no idea who we are to tell the bartenders they’re disappointed in us. I would love the chance to get to speak to the owner and let him know our experience with how the bartenders treated us also with guests sitting next to us that come there often, who kept apologizing saying they’ve never seen them act like this before very very...

I moved into an apartment right across the street a few days ago, and all of my neighbors said to get over to Misfits & try the food. I came in tonight (8-1-24) and the bartender, Becky, was IMMEDIATELY welcoming! I stated I was recommended to try the food & she promptly sat me at the bar & gave me a menu.

She suggested multiple things from the food menu & told me to give it a good lookover. She also asked if I cared for a drink & so I ordered a beer. ICE. FREAKING. COLD. Perfect pour on tap!

I ordered 10 wings & the chicken wrap with grilled chicken. Becky let me know about the spice level of the Chipotle sauce & recommended it on the side being that I stated the chicken wrap was for my grandmother. The people were vibing to the music & were all super friendly!

Different ages & race, & everyone got along! I will DEFINITELY be making this my regular spot at least 3x a week! Keep up the great environment, Misfits!

There is always a good vibe here. The jukebox is on and if you need it to be a bit louder just ask.(but I'd give the bartender a tip for doing it) The pool tables 2 are good for a game and sometimes the tables are free. Food specials are with the trip, I'll even tip the cook it's that good. Good times here! Oh and pull tabs. POST COVID ....Misfits has survived! As (misfits) generally do. Still a great place to unwind with good music. A jukebox which you can connect to with an app on your phone. BONUS Etabs and pull tabs with bingo on certain days.
