We were there Saturday during the dinner rush and ate in. There was only one person working beside the cook in the back. Most of the their business is coming from carryout and delivery from what we could tell, the phone was constantly ringing and quite a few people came in to pick up their food. I didn't get my rice that was supposed to come with my entree and we didn't get our appetizers until well after we already got our entrees, we asked for no shrimp in our spring rolls but they came with it anyway so we asked for that to be taken off the bill and sent it back. The server was nice but it was just not the greatest service during the dinner rush with one person doing the job of at least 3 people. Food was decent, but I wouldn't go back.

Went for the famous Qui egg rolls but also ordered the pad Thai. The Pad Thai was pink and did not taste like PT. Added chicken to it, which was dry..pretty sure they use thighs so not sure how they got dry. I was in & out but staff was awesome. Disappointed in food as it wasn't what I thought PT to be BUT it was still good food. I just didn't want to make my own; PT and fresh spring rolls. In all honesty I was thinking about the egg rolls for the last half of my massage so 😋 With the new road construction it's not difficult to get to: just Google. It's still right off the highway on the 'service' road and you can hop right on the highway again

Ordered Food at 545. It took 2 hours to get here. One hour in, we called to ask about the delay. We offered to pick up the food but were told it would be fine. When the food arrived, it was cold and looked terrible. Do not waste your money here.

If I could give zero stars I would. We ordered chicken pho, honey walnut shrimp, chicken fried rice, cheese puffs, and chicken skewers. Our order was $51 total. Now one would think a customer spending this amount at a restaurant your order would be amazing, right? After receiving our food I was excited to put my chicken pho together. To my dismay, there were two pieces of chicken, and a handful of the nasty processed meatballs that should NEVER had made it into the dish. There was a lemon wedge and no Thai basil, these are some key components that make the dish’s flavor dynamite. The honey walnut shrimp sauce was the ONLY thing good about this entree. The shrimp were deep fried to the point my fiancé couldn’t even poke his fork into them, and the meat itself was dried out and tasted like it was months old. When I called to explain the disappointment in the pho, and the missing items, the reasoning was, “well they were probably ran out if lime wedges, well they probably ran out of Thai basil.” Again, excuses beyond belief. Be knowledgeable about the products you have in your kitchen, and tell your customer you don’t have multiple ingredients for the dish before you continue with the order. They never offered to bring the correct dish or ask if I would like something else. Certainly disappointing for a pregnant woman 🤬 The woman who answered the phone took off the pho from our order, but was off the phone by the time we realized how disgusting the shrimp was. Will never order from here again. Save your time and money and go to New Mandarin in Coon Rapids, hands...

I would not recommend this location. The woman at the counter was rude. We tried to order a couple things and were told they did not have the ingredients. (That's fine, no problem). We were also told our order didn't come with rice. However, when we pointed to the words on the menu that read: "comes with white rice". Her reply was: "yeah, they write all kinds of stuff on there. " ???🤔???

Ordering our food was painful. It was entered incorrectly twice before we were finally able to complete the transaction. It also took forever. (We were literally the only customers.)

To top it off, our order got screwed up. While we were offered to have it taken it off the bill, we were not offered to have it made correctly. (Why not?)

Food was not terrible. Wasn't all that great either.

In summary: if you have time to waste, don't mind getting ripped off for a measly container of rice, or being treated like you are a hassle, and inevitably getting the wrong order, then by all means go there.

Literally any other Chinese food restaurant nearby is a much...

The food is MARGINAL. I would describe it as on "the lower rung of Chinese food made for what THEY think American's like". On many occasions we have called to order and they don't even answer their phone. However, on the days that we actually get through, the employees are nice and they've never screwed up a delivery order. In fact, if they feel that the wait time is too long, they will give us complimentary egg rolls (which is really a great gesture, but they're rather gross {pork and carrots in a wrap} so they don't get eaten). If you're reading this and you like chinese food from any place you go, then you probably like Bamboo Village. if you consider yourself an asian food connoisseur, good luck finding something you can eat and feel satisfied. I wish chinese restaurants would make authentic chinese food!! This restaurant is close, relatively fast and halfway descent...
