Worst Experience EVER in a shop like this! The little girl who finally helped me after I had to wait for her to get done conversating with her co-worker had the attitude that I was "bothering" her... And knew absolutely nothing about what I was inquiring about. After I expressed my desire to speak with someone who had some knowledge in the procucts I was interested in, she got an even worse attitude and made it a point to do everything she could to make me wait and inconvenience me. This was the second time I went into this store and also the second time I had the "pleasure" of dealing with this rude and disgusting personality. I almost left the first time without buying what I went there for because of her but I decided that maybe she was having a bad day. Sadly after this last time I will NEVER shop at this establishment again. Too bad considering they are less than 1/8th of a mile from my home. Fire her and I may decide to come back. Until...

I’m confused on these reviews. Im not a big smoker. I smoke cigars. I came in looking to purchase a hookah for my guest for my outdoor entertainment space. I found the staff not to be knowledgeable at all. Especially one of the girls. Her favorite response was, “I don’t know.” I asked very simple questions, like does the size of the hookah make a difference? Does the metal frame versus cast iron frame make a difference? I purchased a few flavors and they all taste like nothing, just smoke. I called back and said that I was having issues and the same girl said that she doesn’t know what she can do. How about bring it in and check it out? I will trash this one and just stick to cigars...

The stereotypical head shop is that of a stoned and anything goes mentality, but Hideaway is pretty clean and put together. I came here to get a 5 oz scale for my son's upcoming Cub Scout Pinewood Derby so we can add some extra weight but not too much. I bought the wrong thing on my first trip, had to come back and exchange, and they were really friendly and honest. I didn't have my receipt (because I said no when he asked me if I wanted one), but they were human enough to do the exchange because I was just there only 20 minutes ago and they knew I was returning honestly.
