Umm where to begin I ❤ the owner and older lady but the manger and her customer service is dead. Im there everyday always get the same thing the lady knows my order by heart great atmosphere until the manager attitude comes into play. So im very skeptic on food aren't we are so I always watch if possible the only 2 people i don't have to watch is the manger and the older lady. The staff will make a dish and then go to the next person without washing there hands you don't know what kind of allergy someone has!!! So i was hit with food poisoning Im like say it isn't so. I get better i go back I tell 1 of the younger staff members please don't mess up my sandwich just joking I would of told any staff member at that time even the owner the same here comes the manager attitude first no customer service "whoever does it does it wrong" I'm like umm no I've seen the owner do the same "well it shouldn't be made that way" just with attitude I let it go and was like I won't be back for awhile. Then the day i finally do go back oohh was it hell the manger literally yelled at the lady after the staff had messed up their order then tried to savor what food they could instead of making a whole new item after it was wrong and had been sitting manger literally went back and forth with the customer riled up yelling customer asked for their money back she's talking rudely under her breath slams the register closed then the customer states their here everyday where's the manager and when she said I am the manager the yelled they weren't coming back and I don't blame them. In the mist of this the staff forgot my sandwich after all that I didn't even want it bought the damn muffin and left and no offense i refuse to go back good food the customer service is...
Read moreJust wanted a cup of water, the guy cleaning said it was ok. Some woman comes out from behind the counter and asks me how come i am getting water and not asking for it. I told her that I had asked and was given permission. She said I should not come in unless I am buying something. I have been here many times and bought things. Walking thru the lobby/dining area you see a community table. How can you pretend to be a part of the community if you cannot allow a mother and her child to get water without rudely demanding that they either "buy something or dont come in.".....???? I tried to let her know that this is not how you act if you are a part of the community and that behavior like hers makes people not come in. In fact, I will make sure everyone I know is aware of the poor service of this place. Maybe I was going to buy something. My daughter would have loved a snack but I wasnt even given a chance. I especially wont purchase something if I feel like I am being bullied into it. Whoever owns this place should know how much of a rude person she is. If she is the owner, I hope she feels the impact of her behavior on her sales. I am a human being and was thirst with my thirsty child. Who is so focused on money that they deny a human being water? My meal was custom, a plain bagel with avocado, cucumber, and salt and pepper. This is a sandwich I make often myself and have ordered in various other cafes. My sandwich was inedible. I realized my mistake in not asking for more seasoning. So I asked the staff for seasoning and was offered cream cheese… not the same. After realizing they do not offer other seasonings I asked for a refund because I had been very hungry and for a bagel costing $14.20, I was not satisfied with my purchase. I also only took two bites.
In summary, I will not be attending a bagel Street cafe again, I have never heard of someone being dissatisfied with service and denied a refund. I am not one to request a refund for food and service, but this...
