Naan and Kabob Bazaar — Restaurant in Antioch

This is hands down the best Afghani ( which also covers Persian, Pakistani/Indian, Middle Eastern, etc) groceries around. They are very customer oriented and friendly. Love Ali and his sisters! I support a family owned hard working business. I reviewed them on Yelp as well being an Elite YELPER and gave more detailed review there. Afghani bread is fresh and good. There frozen section extensive( try the carrot halwa). I like they added fresh fruits and vegetables( if more selection, I would make this my main grocery store). Meats are very fresh - halal. Oh and even better you can order to go dinner that is so delicious and better than a fast food run for your family! I love the Quabli pilau with lamb shanks and even my teenage son asks me to get that for him( after McD burger meal, etc it comes to same price why not get better food here!?). Also I buy the Quabli pilau with lamb shanks when I have guests come over and they raved about it as well ( that way I don’t have to cook and I make this myself as well and get fresh lamb shanks from their meat section). I rather buy from them then grocery stores that are packed from NZ or Australia. This seems fresh and more local.

This is the Best market in town,you will visit and find in the East Bay Area. The combination of fresh meats, bread, spices, and fresh hot food. As you walk in you are greeted kindly and the owners and family are the most respectful and kindness. I enjoy every visit here. You will always be treated like family. Every item you find here is fresh and unique. I purchased treats kitchen appliance I've also purchased my honey which I love there is a variety of Honey selections. Every honey selection I have purchased is exceptionally amazing. I find that the meat is fresh with a very delicious taste unlike the meat we buy at our regular grocery stores. It's a great option to buy the meats here, you can have it pre-cut freshly for you ordered by the pound. in their cold selection they also have variety of desserts, drinks, and prepackaged meats like their sausages bread rice everything is available to you here. I highly recommend visiting this is my number one favorite place to come. I’ve been a loyal customer of Naan and Kabob Bazar in Lone Tree Way Antioch for the past two years. However, a constant negative experiences have changed my opinion.

While the cashier is always courteous, the butchers unfortunately have a rude and dismissive attitude. They consistently try to sell more meat than customers need and often seem unwilling to accommodate specific requests.

Today, I needed 3 pounds of goat meat. The main butcher insisted I either buy the entire 4.53-pound piece or a smaller 2-pound piece. After a brief disagreement, he refused to sell me the meat, even after it had been cut, and asked me to leave the store.

Given the high prices and poor customer service, I’ve decided to no longer shop at this location. I wouldn't recommend this store for...
