I have eaten here a lot and there food is great... I ordered food for pick up today. And I was told my food would be done at 4:15. I got here at 4:13. And no one greater me or asked if I needed something. A waitress walked throw and looked at me 3 times. Then a family of 3 walked in and I sat them at a table. When the waitress came out she seen them and greater them promptly. I stayed standing at the front desk for another 10 min till someone came around the The corner with her mouth full of food and bread in her hand. She then asked me if my name was Kelly and If i have a togo order with food in her mouth. I said yes and I asked who is supposed to be at the front desk ?? She said she is but she was getting my food ready. I have never been in a restaurant where I sat at the front desk for 27 minutes without being greeted and had to seat a table for them so that other customers didn’t walk out the front door. She told me my food was ready at 4:15 so you think she’s going to probably know someone’s gonna be at the front at 4:15 . Instead I didn’t get my food until after 430.. I spend fifty to a hundred to hundred fifty dollars in here probably three or 4 times a month but I will not be back.. I have worked in the food industry for over 10 years and I’ll tell you that is completely...

Having now visited JJ Twigs twice since its transition, I can say the renovation has breathed new life into the space. The refreshed interior strikes a balance between casual warmth and contemporary polish, with the pool area and bar particularly well-executed—inviting without pretense. On our most recent visit, a table for six was easily reserved, and the setting proved ideal for a relaxed evening among friends. Upon arrival, however, the entry process remains ambiguous—guests are left uncertain whether to wait for a host or seat themselves, a small but notable oversight in an otherwise well-orchestrated atmosphere. Service on this occasion, led by Shelby, was exemplary—attentive, personable, and unhurried. Drinks were well-crafted and consistent across the table. The pizzas continue to impress—crispy, balanced, and generously topped—while the entrees, notably the smash burger, showcased thoughtful execution and flavor. JJ Twigs succeeds where it matters most: good food, inviting ambiance, and service that makes you feel at ease. It’s an excellent choice for groups seeking a casual yet elevated dining experience. With a few refinements to the guest flow upon arrival, it could evolve from a neighborhood favorite into a standout local...

We went here to take my friend visiting from out of town out to a nice dinner. We had a party of five people. The service was pretty slow even though there were not a lot of guests. Drinks took at least 10min to come from the bar- two beers, a vodka cranberry and a whiskey on the rocks. An appetizer of raw oysters took at least 20min. Three of our party had sandwhiches which they said were good. My friend and I opted for steak and lobster. My food was kind of cold and my steak was overdone which they remade, my friend's food came out cold as well. The waitress essentially blamed my friend for her food being cold (she was away from the table when it arrived.) They took it in the back and instead of remaking it, they microwaved it! Microwaved lobster which was brought out by the manager! The lobster got rubbery and we just sent the whole thing back and they begrudgingly took it off our tab. The price of the steak and lobster meal was $48 which was not reflected at all in how the food was prepared. All in all, it was a highly disappointing experience since they had such good reviews. Unless your in the mood for a garden variety sandwich,...

this place is great! went in for a quiet breakfast, and it was delicious! never been to Johnny’s so it was a very nice treat. we ordered some skillets, french toast, and a bunch of sides to tie us over. the bloody mary was delish too! definitely was the “hair of the dog that bit ya” cure that morning. they even have bottomless mimosas and bloodies on certain weekend days. skillets were amazing! looked smaller than they actually are but are PACKED into a little skillet with lots of veggies, hash browns and eggs. our friend got the french toast, which was on thick texas toast. i got the corn beef hash on the side, and its some of the best hash ive had! i highly recommend getting texas toast as your side as the jelly was bomb. our server was super sweet. she was new according to one of the other servers who came to ask us a question on our order. but, we never would have guessed as she was awesome! DELICIOUS food! we will definitely return these guys are awesome!!!! Thanks!

I'm very disappointed in visit today. Today was the first time I have been here, and I can already say that I (and my parents, who I had lunch with) won't be back. We ordered a kid's item that was supposed to be a whopping $9 and they charge $10 (!) for a little bowl of Kraft mac and cheese and fries. I told the waitress that I was going to split the BLT sandwich with my mom, and they ended up charging us a 3% fee for splitting the tiny sandwich and giving us a different plate! There was no mention of this while ordering it. Also, it was supposed to be on Texas toast, but was on regular bread! The waitress disappeared for a while after we got our food. This place is way too expensive to begin with, and they will charge you more then they advertise... So so check your receipt!!

This place did in fact surprise me. When I see a big menu, it tends to subpar. The food was incredible. We had the steak poutine(they are not stingy with their steak) the gravy was flavored nicely not being salty. My fiancé has the gyro plate the rice was fluffy and myperfect and the lamb he said was very well cooked that he didn’t even notice he didn’t have sauce on there. I had their steak sandwich with a side salad. Again steak was not lacking(it was medium) I added peppers but so flavorful and that 🥖 crispy outside and fluffy inside. Currently waiting on their cookie. Mya was great, and she knows her stuff. The 👨‍🍳 kudos, thank you for a joyful evening. I would definitely come back with more people.
